Proactive didn’t work for my teenage daughter either, in fact Proactive made her skin worse. She ended up trying Clearasil Ultra Daily wash and she loves it.

Have you ever thought about trying some vitamins to control Acne? I my opinion, if you really want to be acne free, start taking Chelated Zinc, its amazing and costs about $ 5 a for a months worth. Your skin will thank you for it.

Good luck!

Men generally do not have overactive bladder. Generally speaking, high amount of urination in men happen when they are older and have enlarged prostate.
In your case, I’ll be thinking more on the lines of a small bladder or hormonal problems. I would go to a physician and discuss this issue.
Overactive bladder is more of a female problem. There are no OTCs for this, but there are a number of Rx drugs.

Question : What’s the best vitamin or liquid medicine to give an older cat that has trouble jumping?
My cat has trouble jumping and I’ve given her liquid glucosamine which seems to work well. But it’s very expensive and I’m wondering if there’s anything that doesn’t cost that much that works just as effectively.

It depends where you go. I’ve been inpatient once in a treatment center and once in a hospital, and I’ve also been to an afterschool program. In a treatment center, you’ll have frequent meetings with your psychiatrist, psychologist and dietician. You’ll also have various types of therapies, including group therapies with the other girls who are in the program. In my experience, there’s a lot of structure within the program. In the program that I was in, there were varying levels that you had to work through to be discharged, but to begin, I was given very little independence and lots of supervision. Many programs allow you to work to a level where you can get passes to go out of the facility and even eat a meal out while following your meal plan.
I’m not sure exactly what types of questions you have, but if you have any more or would like to talk to me about my experiences inpatient, my email address is laurelle117@yahoo.com
Good luck!

What’s the best dental insurance that covers braces for adults without too much out-of-pocket expense?

Question : What’s the best dental insurance that covers braces for adults without too much out-of-pocket expense?
I’m trying to get braces for myself (lingual), but the insurance I have from my emplyer does not over braces. I’ve been searching for one that does. But the closest I’ve found is a discounted price (which may just be a sales pitch). So I need something that won’t leave me broke right from the start. Thanks in advance.

I haven’t seen any orthodontic coverage that covers more than 50% up to a maximum of $ 2,000. And you won’t find it through private insurance, only through employer groups, because if it was offered through private insurance, only the people who needed to use it would buy it.

Ingredients:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon or lime juice (vinegar may also work, although I haven’t tested it)
- 1/4 cup water

Combine all ingredients and bring just to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring often. Reduce heat and simmer for about 25 minutes until mixture has turned a rich amber color.
Lift the saucepan off the heat occasionally so that the bubbles will calm down and you can keep an eye on the color.
Move off the heat and allow the mixture to partially cool in the pot until it begins to thicken (about 15 minutes).
It’s important that the mixture is heated long enough. Otherwise you’ll have problems with the final product being too sticky and not solidifying enough to use.
Pour the mixture into an air-tight container and allow to cool fully before handling.

Once completely cooled, this sugaring paste can be applied directly onto the hair and pulled off. Or if you prefer, you can use the sugaring paste just like wax by warming it up and using it with muslin strips.

What’s the difference between hearing aids bought from a doctor as opposed to those bought at about half price?

Question : What’s the difference between hearing aids bought from a doctor as opposed to those bought at about half price?
From an audiologist, I’m told that a prescription hearing aid can run about $ 2500. I see ads for hearing aids that are programmed based on hearing test results that go for around $ 1000. Is there much difference in quality?

I KNOW that one’s for migraine and one’s for others…What I’m asking is, is there actually a big difference between one and the other?

It looks like they use the same medical ingredient, so how exactly is one targeted at migraines and the other not?

What’s the average price range for dental veneers?

Question : What’s the average price range for dental veneers?
I would like to set up a surprise appointment for my fiance to get a few veneers put on his front teeth, because they’re stained and damaged and he’s very self conscience of them. But I have no idea how much money that would require. What makes it even more difficult is the fact that we have absolutely no dental insurance. On average, how much do dental veneers cost? And does it vary by where you live? I live in the Wisconsin/ Minnesota region.

Do you want veneers or have you considered Lumineers? Veneers are going to run you around $ 500 and up per tooth. They also involve quite a bit of tooth reduction in order for them to fit properly. Lumineers involve minor cosmetic preparation and the suggested retail price is $ 1000 per tooth, but you’ll have to check with individual offices..

EDIT: $ 1075 per Veneer? Jesus…where do you live that it would cost that much? Look, if you are going to be paying over a grand per veneer, just go with the Lumineers. The cost is most likely going to be comperable and because there isn’t any cutting or grinding of the teeth, the proceedure is also essentially painless and reversable, if you chose to do that in the future.
