The new iPod nano G5 with a video camera, voice recorder and pedometers
0The new iPod nano is a fifth-generation electronic marvel! He packs so many things is incredibly powerful as a small and slick body that it is unbelievable. P> All these years I’m afraid to purchase an iPod from the simple reason that it can take up so much of my time to suffer with my writing and other interests to lack of time. But when I read that the new iPod nano can record and play back video clips in addition to recording voice and music, I started kind of curious to find more. I began to read its specifications and its features. When I learned that the world clock, show me, could the time in four cities around the world at the same time, stopwatch, alarm, calendar, memo notes, contacts and games, it pricked my ears had. But the last feature that my resistance was broken, that it worked as a pedometer as well! That did it! I fell for it and bought it immediately. P> But it was my first iPod and Apple’s first device to know that I did not know how to work it. I read the brief instructions for persons with Apple devices, and not for a first timer like me was made known. When I switched on the unit, I could not top and bottom of the menu when I vain for the keys, which I tried pressing the TV remote control runs. I was unspeakably disappointed. After an hour or so I discovered the secret of scrolling up and down the menu just by chance. You have your finger in a circular motion around the wheel brush! to go clockwise and counterclockwise to go to the menu! Eureka! I felt elated. The button at the top of the iPod, which I thought was the ON-OFF button has no such thing. It was a slide switch on the iPod in the unlikely case where it did hang back and stopped working. Soon I became an expert. Press Menu to return to the previous screen at a time and pull ring with the thumb on the wheel to select the menu and press the central button, move to the next screen. P> I downloaded and installed iTunes on my computer. The program drew the music on my hard drive and convert it for iPod. I connected the iPod and sync it with iTunes ready soon. Although iTunes has second pick-up mov movie clips from my desk and placed them on the screen, not iTunes sync with the iPod and has demonstrated a msg that it is not a format that could be played on the iPod nano. I also found that films that I shot was not synchronized to the iPod with my Panasonic camera. You need to convert movies to MP4 format to load on the iPod. Later, I searched the net and downloaded the software to convert movies for iPod. You can find it at www (.) E-ZSoft (.) Com. But the films that I could download to my computer with the iPod shot and they did play well. The iPod Camera is quite good in movie clips, although the position of the lens is something that has to get used to it. P> I had not expected to play the iPod to the music without plugging in the headphones, and was pleasantly surprised when it did. The sound is good quality, but the volume is barely audible through my shirt pocket. But you could hold the back enjoying the iPod into your ear to the music without the earphones properly. The feature is welcome when listening to voice notes. With the headphones the sound quality is very good. P> I was pleased to see that the audio-out jack a full size one (is third 5 mm) and not a Mini. I was in my music system to plug and play the music from the iPod. It sounded great! However I did not get any success in the video clip on the AV cable that I bought separately. It was not on my Panasonic home theater projector. I took it back to the store, tried it and said that although his black box iPod nano says, it seems not to work on the latest version. He would tell me how and when the new AV cable compatible with the new nano. But this is certainly a spot on Apple Inc. Why does not the accessaries for all? It adds to inventory only to the older accessaries outdated and adds to the costs. P> I turned on the iPod pedometer put it in my right side pants pocket and went into my garden and started counting the steps. I stopped after a few laps when I counted 485 steps and looked at the iPod. It had recorded 487 steps! The step counter works. I then held it in my hand trying to keep it as quiet as possible, as I went to the screen. The iPod faithfully recorded my every move. I wonder how Apple did this gimmick, as I do not know the pedometer, which can do that. P> I put the iPod in my inMotion IM5 Altech Speaker Dock and played some wonderful music. But the radio does not work on the dock. I have the headphones and the radio. Probably the earphone cable as a way of using an antenna. Then I tried it from plugging the iPod into the speakers via the AUX. Input with a cord that could serve as an antenna, but work is still not the radio. P> I then plugged in my iTrip FM Transmitter for the iPod and the frequency at 100 MH. This worked well when my radio was switched to the same frequency. I turned off the FM radio in my car and played from the iPod, Louis Armstrong’s “When The Saints Go Marching By” as a greeting to marvel at Apple Inc. for the iPod. P> On the whole I am glad I bought the iPod nano. It will be my companion in your pocket, wherever I go. I have my fear and dislike of the little I had shed for the Apple product. Kudos to Apple Inc. for their attendance, with a great practical and useful products for the consumer beyond the music lovers! P>
