Teachers: Would you do this for your students?

Question : Teachers: Would you do this for your students?
For all you teachers out there, I’m just wondering. If your student was anorexic or had another eating disorder and was in the hospital or a recovery center, would you visit them?

I mean, if it was like a star student, and then they got really thin and eventually checked into a hospital or something, would you go visit them personally or send a card or anything?

Or would that be too personal for you, and you would rather just let them be?

Send a card. A visit is way too personal. Unless you guys are like buddies off of campus.

Drug and alcohol problems are very important

youth to college. After the experiment, “adult” life, that young anymore. They begin to acts of anti-law, to commit to no good.

drug abuse.

Many students think that the weed is not harmful. Well, it’s really cool to smoke with friends. You feel more relaxed and everyone laughing at your company. You can feel the inspiration in you and want to flow a lot of energy. These feelings are really great. But it is only as good as it seems? Well, no! All of these false and unreal, that weed gives you, so to hurt you. You will not see at first. But if you really end up with soft drugs, you see. You’re screwed, but you think the simplest questions for very very long time. Is that what you want? And if you stop weed juice, you will be happy to try drugs, the silt in the endless circle of happiness and fake drugs hard reality without them.

Alcohol abuse.

Alcohol is also a very important problem of youth unemployment in the school. Living on campus, many young people go to parties where they drunk. Well, really, if you drink a feeling of lightness throughout the body, you’re happy and you were not a disgrace. You can drink a little and then ask for a dance of a girl who looked like a princess you inaccessible. You feel relaxed and happy. And drinking more and more and more. But in the morning, you have terrible headache, you’re thirsty, and you want to drink as much water as you can. And what bad taste in your mouth reminds cat poop. Disgusting, really? Even if you brush your teeth you are not from this horrible taste in my mouth and get rid of the smell away. Headaches go away and not so simple. Of course you can drink water dome cucumber, but that will not help.

Drugs and alcohol

are not your friends. Avoid them!

Network of financial freedom Glow Foundation offers tips budget for new students

0

San Mateo, CA (Vocus) 7 October 2010

Now that fall into this booming and schools, students move into new classrooms, dormitories, and the reality of financial management on a daily basis. For many students this is the first time, she is responsible for paying the bills is to make ends meet and live on their own.

To help, LLC Freedom Financial Network (FFN) and the Foundation to help charitable Glow partner to offer advice to draw new students and offer to use a budget, and avoid excessive debt.

â? Many students we work with? Students from low-income families? have not yet to a budget, a management? Said Peter Kim, executive director of the San Francisco Foundation Glow, which helps low-income students, the gap in university with the help and financial advice. â? If they manage to win the confidence, money and debt, this process leads to graduation and future success in the implementation of REACh.?

NFA and Glow have assembled these six tips for basic financial management. New students or someone starting their first financial planning, you can follow these steps to manage their first budget:

1 Live within your means. Borrowing for college can be an investment in the future, “said Housser, but students should avoid taking on additional debt to finance a lifestyle? how difficult it may be. â? Stay out of debt is far more rewarding in the long term, â? Housser said.

2 Create and use a budget. All students should have a budget, even if the income is derived solely from parents or scholarships. Budgeting can be done with software, a spreadsheet or paper and pencil. ? Housser s following:

A. Understand the baseline. In total, all entries of money, whether from wages, scholarships or savings. Then ranks the current monthly costs, fixed costs (rent) are variable costs are â? Must-buys? (Food, fuel, medicines, books, supplies), savings and spending.

B. Subtract expenses from income tax. If this number increase (cash flow) is negative, to find a way of either income or reduce expenses.

C. Map. On the first day of the month, a plan on where to spend money.

3 Save some income. Housser suggests 10 percent of every deposit paychecks directly into a savings account or money market. This is when the check from the parents, a part-time job or a person with a donation. The goal is an emergency fund for unexpected costs incurred to build coverage.

4 Pay your bills on time. Open every bill as soon as it arrives. Pay bills immediately or create a simple reminder. Schedule regular bills paid automatically online. Remember to be sure funds are available in the account payment due on the invoice. As students begin, regular bills and payments? same phone, Internet or another utility? they also begin to build credit scores. Payments on time, explained Housser are the most important element of a credit score.

5 Pay credit cards in full. Although the law on credit cards, the action took place in 2010, it is difficult for students in the age to get a credit card, some students still get a card. For those who Housser this? S is a basic rule, the full balance paid each month. This practice avoids the cost of high finance and build a credit score at the same time. Pay less than the full payment each month begins a new cycle that is hard to quit. Now, for example for a 000, if the borrower pays only the minimum requirements (assuming that the increase of 3 percent or) on a card with 19.9 percent in April, the total amount paid, 000 debt will be about, 850 for many years.

6 Create and manage a credit rating. A good rating affects individualism? S ability to borrow money and the interest it pays. Ratings may also have the ability to rent an apartment to rent a car or even get a job. Everyone can access the credit reports to check once a year free of charge to www.annualcreditreport.com and pupils at the age would be wise, and monitor their credit report at least once a year, said Housser. If the reports show the inaccuracies, correct them immediately. For those who do not have a credit card, pay student loans or car loans each month to build a credit history.

â? We believe todayâ? ae sad suffer from a lack of financial literacy, â? Said Andrew Housser, CEO of FFN. â? These two steps? as our partnership with the ticket? grasp.â we can make a difference in the lives of young people through financial education and future success more easily?

FFNâ? be combined to support the Foundation Scholarship Glow with hands on financial literacy efforts. The company helped fund the development and management of an adoption benefit program, mentoring in schools, scholarships for students monitored schools, the program of matching grants for scholarships and GLOWA? S Fundraising Dinner signature. Has also contributed to an NFA based financial literacy program on the Web. FFN staff serve as mentors for students in the program by supporting Glow college application process and financial aid and the creation and use of a personal financial budget.

College students looking for Plastic Surgery

0

Polls show alarming trends

in today’s youth, who seem to be very eager to get under the knife to alter their appearance. For many young men and women barely out of puberty, it seems that plastic surgery is the panacea for their dissatisfaction with their appearance.

In addition, contrary to popular belief, it is not only young people in America who are queuing to correct in clinics for plastic surgeons to their image of themselves. The tentacles of this trend in Korea are now distributed to students aged 20 to opt for cosmetic surgery to improve their appearance.

Kim Yoo-mi is a 20 year old student in Korea have two jobs to save money, a nose job to have. Kim suffers from low self-esteem and felt his nose to the cause. The 20-year-old believes that if a nose job (won $ 2,500,000) had, it suddenly develop trust and be happy with yourself. Kim hopes to also have a double eyelid surgery, if it can reach, to save enough money. “It is difficult to work 12 hours a day, but kept my nose is completely paid off,” said Kim.

But it may seem incredible, Kim is just one of many young women in Korea who are dissatisfied with their appearance and for which they seek plastic surgery to help “fix” their faces.

The number of people who have plastic surgery is increasing, and it seems that patients are getting younger by the day.

Plastic Surgery on the Rise in Great Britain

In addition, the medical tourism in relation to cosmetic surgery is rising today in the United Kingdom with the cosmetic surgery clinics and plastic surgery clinics offer discounts and attractive packages to encourage people to do improvements for the face, breast enlargement and other cosmetic procedures.

Why Plastic Surgery is always a solution for students

Glamour and beauty are the norm and today’s youth obsessed with pop stars, actors and celebrities as their models. It has become a priority for the people have a beautiful face and a beautiful body in accordance with social cliques;. And why are students and young people a lot of pressure to get good

regular faces from magazines, newspapers disappeared look thin and even television and only the air brushed images of beautiful models track, with full lips and chiseled body, to the plates appear. This flood of carefully selected beautiful people and attention to the eyes of today has grown to many young people with an inferiority complex.

It is discouraging to allow 20 years so eager to dangerous operations, where they want to cut their faces and see a carved his tryout attempt to become what they believe to be “beautiful.”

Because children are not happy with themselves and are never in the “IT Crowd” and when they grow up and go to college and age – they opt for cosmetic surgery as a solution to their low self-esteem

Best answer:

Answer by dave
Make sure the school has plenty of hands on experience, *they should be involved in the community *(this will help with seeing a more variety of pt. and more patients to see) Find out what the average number of patients a student will see while in the clinic per day. The more patients you see the more you will learn.
What is the student to teacher ratio in the clinic!!!
Visit the schools your interested in and talk to the current students there. Also sit in on a few classes.
I would definitely recommend that you take your basics requirements like biology, A&P ect at your local community college to save you LOTs of money. Then transfer them into the acupt school.
Read this book “the web that has no weaver” isbn 0809228408
To help you make a decision. Also it will help you understand what you will be studying and give you a jump start on the rest of the class. For other books of interest go to redwingbooks.com
