Yes it helps just like lying down or hanging upside down. The vertebrae are stacked on top of each other with a cushion in between each one. When verticle, the cushions get squeezed. After sleeping all night the cushions expand. See site for a specialized type of chiropractic that works better than the others.

There are many surgical ways the spine can be decompressed and disc removal is just one of them. There may be good reasons to do this in some cases but I wouldn’t trust an internet site to lead you to the best route. In addition, most of the time back pain is best taken care of without surgery.
I suggest you find a good Neurologist who can help you manage this and can help direct you to the best next step (physical therapy, chiropractic, pain specialist, or surgeon). In the mean time you could start investigating who the best spine surgeons are in your area – getting a good one makes a huge difference.
I’m not sure if this is the one you saw but there’s one funny website out there that advertises using lasers for back surgery. There can be a role for lasers in back surgeries but they are very limited. That one is clearly a bid to appeal to the layman.
How to win patients spinal decompression
0What is your
radar system to bring patients to spinal decompression?
The secret is – Marketing “net” method! That’s right. They throw a net around your candidate rather spinal decompression.
How will you do? We are moved into local target marketing to attack the candidate more in your office.
By examining the best physicians, we found an overwhelming majority as the best candidates spinal decompression within driving range practice lived, almost without exception. This is not surprising, since our research showed that 96% of patients live within three miles of practice of decompression and spine is no exception!
In fact, we use our advantage in our spinal decompression Mailer said
More good news: the office of Dr. Cummings, “which focuses on spinal decompression, is only 5 miles from home and you can help immediately …”
Why I love neighborhood Marketing …
If we know you have the chance to 96% of patients within a radius of 3-5 miles of your practice where you think, should we want to focus our marketing efforts to get? That’s right. Within this radius of 3-5 miles, without a doubt.
This tells us that if you want spinal decompression in patients receiving the best way to this site. Mass marketing is not the best approach for spinal decompression, in our opinion. Mass marketing is extremely expensive, it is not targeted, as it sprays your marketing message in every sense wild and just not as good as against the “sweet spot” zone around a practice.
In other words, if you know you have a chance of 96% better, they are within three miles of your practice, why things harder on themselves by outside of this zone is more likely?
We found that most doctors have not picked up the gold, her feet get closer to their practice! First, choose ripe fruit. It is the easiest and most profitable.

Does Spinal Decompression work for anyone?
1Question : Does Spinal Decompression work for anyone?
Ive had 2 back surgeries for lower back disc. I have tried acupuncture this helped my back pain for a few minutes but no long term results. I have also gone to a chiropractor which gave me the same results. I have seen ads about spinal decompression for a few years now but haven’t seemed to get any first hand answers on if it really helps. I would like to know if anyone has any information on it for someone in my same situation with already having surgery.

I have a friend who is currently undergoing spinal decompression and it’s working very well for him. At first, he wasn’t progressing as quickly as his doctor had hoped, but he was on a boatload of morphine for the pain. The doctor felt the chronic dehydration from the morphine was the cause. After following a withdrawal protocol for weaning off of the morphine, his progress has been tremendous. He says it’s the first time he has been without pain since the automobile accident 2 years ago that caused his back injury. However, he had not had any prior surgery.

My husband has this. Unfortunately, all available treatment failed and it continued up his back and he is now completely disabled. If it is already cutting of the sciatic nerve, you are past the point of decompression because the disc itself needs to be able to heal. You’ll want to go see a spine specialist and a neurosurgeon that specializes in the spine. The surgeon is to see if you would benefit from a microdiscectomy or other surgery and the spine clinic is to take care of injections, pain medicine and any other treatments you want. Physical therapy is just one option (one that didn’t work for my husband either – it made him worse). They also have an electrical device that you can get in your back as an option, now. You’ll just have to bring your MRIs to the spine specialist and see what is the best option for you.
Spinal decompression and other back pain remedies
0decompression therapy, spinal decompression therapy or otherwise, the means for non-surgical neck and back pain. Usually affect the back pain from degenerative disc disease, herniated disc, spinal stenosis, or malformations of the disk causes.
With spinal decompression therapy, the patient avoids surgery meetings and not subject to the treatment of many. Most patients have back pain relief immediately after the first therapy session decompression.
Most back pain remedies />
Almost everyone has experienced back pain in one form or another. We knew that back pain is almost a second headache as the most common neurological disease in the United States />

Spinal decompression
A controlled trial of spinal decompression and RTE for the treatment of low back pain
0were carried out several studies and a report on the success rate of treatment of chronic low back pain using the machine mechanized cord decompression. A recent study by May 2007 in the chiropractic and osteopathic published. He compared the success rate to relieve the machine using a non-invasive intermittent mechanical traction with the use of TENS for low back pain with disc herniation or bulge.
First, to understand each study, you have a picture of chronic disease and misery it causes. Back pain due to injury or accident, accidents Comp and the main reason for disability among persons under 45. The spinal vertebrae are stacked on another. Between each vertebra is a tough, fibrous cushion called a disc that contains a jelly-like substance. These disks act as shock absorbing pads and thus to bend the spine, twist and turn. Healthy discs are thick, soft and collapse when pressure is exerted on them like a sponge.
If it’s a violation may move the vertebrae out of alignment or compress the disc so the disc to swell or rupture, jelly substance. This disc herniation or a bulging disc causing pressure on spinal nerves, leading to pain, numbness, and can lead to a decreased function in the affected arm or leg
It is also known as:.
• a pinched nerve
• Sciatica • A blown hard drive
The protrusion of the disc or its base material results not only the pressure on the spinal nerves, it compresses the blood vessels and impairs circulation in the region. Deprived of nutrients and oxygen, the disc can not be cured, and over time will flatten out, stiff and hard, like a dry sponge. This state evolves to a recorded disc degeneration
standard treatment has.
• Physics /
• Chiropractic epidural injections (injections into the epidural space of the spinal cord)
• NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory)
• Hot or cold compresses with massage
• Stimulation (TENS)
• Non-surgical spinal decompression
• acupuncture • Surgery – as a last resort
A processing method, the underlying non-surgical spinal decompression, in some studies show a success rate of 71% to 90%. A machine approved by the FDA, using a computer program extends smoothly patients spine, slowly pulls the vertebrae, enabling more pressure on the disc, then heal it.
test of the machine continued and a new study compares the results of treatment of decompression therapy with the TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) unit. TENS is a small unit that can be worn during treatment. This FDA approved therapy for back pain provides low-voltage electric current in the region affected by the electrodes. His electrodes pierce the skin just deep enough to reach the nerve fibers, usually 1 to 2 inches. It activates the mechanisms of pain, the fight against the body and may take several hours a day.
L’Etude The purpose of this study was to compare the efficacy of two treatment methods to relieve pain and improve mobility in patients with a bulging disc or a hernia.
The subjects were recruited through newspaper ads and had multiple criteria for inclusion to meet the test:
• intervertebral disc prolapse or herniation by MRI (Magnetic Resonate confirmed) or CT (computed tomography)
• Low Back Pain for 3 months or more, can be associated with pain radiating to one or both legs.
• Average duration of pain was 7.3 years
The study included 44 patients, mean age was 42 years. The group was initially divided into 2 groups of 22 people.
• spinal decompression treatments consisted of sessions of 30 minutes 5 times per week for 4 weeks. It was through a treatment once a week for 4 weeks.
• The TENS group received treatment with a TENS machine for 30 minutes a day for 20 days. There was one treatment per week for 4 weeks.
• Both groups were capable of pain and inflammation, non-narcotic.
Results The response was measured by the 10 cm visual analogue scale (VAS) and disability scale. The disability scale rated the issue of ability, their activities were affected on a scale of 0-4 exercise, 4 being “could do an activity without limitation.”
The success was as a 50% improvement in VAS, defined as the degree of pain relief. Any reduction in disability was placed on a positive note. During the study, 4 subjects dropped out, with 19 in the decompression group and 21 in the TENS group
conclusions.
• spinal decompression 13 of 19 people (68.4%) showed improvement.
• The 6 months follow-up was 7 of 19 people improve their level of
TENS treatment have maintained.
• 0 out of 21 subjects showed improvement
.
Further scientific studies are planned or underway finally prove the efficacy of spinal decompression therapy.
