Smith was recognized for outstanding commitment in the call argument, twice received Murray S. Love Award argument that won the Andrew Gay for Excellence in Advocacy and was honored with the James J. Manderino negotiates verbally. He received his bachelor’s degree in political science at Williams College in Massachusetts. He won the Smith Community Service Scholarship and the pound sterling as Lehman Brown Citizenship Award for his contributions to the university and surrounding community.

An active member of the community of Philadelphia, the father of the late Smith served as pastor of a Baptist church in North Philadelphia and her mother is currently associate pastor of a Baptist church in Mount Airy / German Town, is Philadelphia.
