In May 2009, after trying less invasive ways, we were faced with scoliosis surgery for our daughter. Frightening at first but we got through it and she is doing GREAT. I wrote this song for her while in the waiting room during her surgery. My guitarist Jonny Smoke and I recorded it several weeks later and I put a slideshow together to pay tribute to my daughter and to hopefully give some encouragement to anyone and their parents who are facing the same.
