Your position is the business director for a large medical supply company. You provide medical supplies to medical offices as well as hospitals throughout the country. You have been asked to provide a projection for business in the next five years. What economic tools would you use to provide projections for future business, what products might be needed and the type of personnel the company will need for the future? Currently the company not only sells products but provides training to doctors and hospitals on the technology used in some of the medical equipment you sell and lease to the medical community. Also, what projections would you provide the strategic team as for the potential business picture – using economic indicators, would your business likely grow or are you in a decreasing market? Question : Can my parents legally make me go to treatment for bulimia? Help, please!?
I’m 17 years old. My parents found out that I purge after eating. They sent me to see a therapist (who doesn’t even specialize in Eating Disorders), and after finding out I’ve been doing this over two years, she made me attend an outpatient program for two weeks. I didn’t “improve” so they’re making me go to an inpatient program in another state?!? I’m a senior in high school, I will be 18 in July, I only have a few months of school left- I don’t want to spend these best months of my life in a treatment center away from my friends.
How can I make them stop?! I tried to express my concerns but no one would hear it- not even my therapist!!! I’m not even bulimic, I barely have any problem, sure I throw up sometimes but does that make it ok to do this to me?!
Do I legally have to go to this center? Do I have any other options?

Techniqually you are not 18 yet so yes you have to go.

Question : PLEASE When will they release me from an outpatient program for a eating disorder if I’m not underweight?
I’m supposed to go in for my assessment on Friday and then start an outpatient program for my eating disorder.
I thought usually you got released if you reached a certain weight but I’m not underweight, My bmi is 22 although I am losing weight currently by eating 200-400 calories a day with 1-2 hours of exercise.

you obviously still need help if you are only eating 200-400 calories a day and doing 1-2 hours of exercise. personally i think you need an inpatient program.

I need a doctor in NYS to write me a perscription for a mobility product. NO DRUGS just need a script for a POWER SCOOTER. I can not walk long distances and would like to regain my freedom. However my local doctor has retired and i dont have one so if you can write me a script for a power scooter so i can get one that would be nice.. Please i am begging you to help me out.

I hope you can get one through your doctor, but if you can’t, you might want to look online at eBay or Craig’s List. We got a good refurbished one for my mother at markedly reduced prices compared to one brand new from most medical supply houses.

I have a 7-year-old Bengal who has chronic herpes virus in his eyes and respiratory system that he picked up when he was seriously ill as a kitten. He’s managed to go along fairly happily all his life with good care. In January, he was diagnosed as diabetic, and he is getting 1.5 units of vetsulin twice daily and a diabetic (high protein with fiber added) diet. His blood glucose tests are good. This is a cat that has weighed 18 pounds when he was a little overweight, and he is now down to 12 pounds (very bony looking). He constantly begs for food, but then will eat only a few bites. He doesn’t much like the diet dry food (combination of Purina DM and Purina high-fiber), but will try to steal my rescued kitten’s kitten chow (but even that, he’ll only snack at if he manages to get some). He has very loose stools (this is what the additional fiber was supposed to help with), and I haven’t been able to put any weight on him, even with giving him a tablespoon of high protein canned food he likes several times a day. I would really appreciate any serious advice. PLEASE don’t tell me to take him to the vet. He has been to the vet too much (and she is a very good vet). Short of having him undergo major expensive tests like full body scans, they can’t think of anything else.

Some detail: This is an indoors only cat all his life, so parasites are not likely, and yes, he does get lysine for his herpes, although I’ve cut down right now because lysine can cause loose bowels. Except for the diarrhea and weight loss, he appears very normal as far as coat and behavior. In fact, he just came into my computer room to be petted, followed by the kitten. I also have two other rescued cats, too many, but they all love each other, and this is a big house.

I had a diabetic cat that lived to a ripe old age. The only thing I can suggest (short of calling vet) is to leave dry food out for him to snack on throughout the day and then a dinner of wet food once a day. They have those pet bowls with the silo containers. As the bowl empties, it replenishes itself. Also have lots of water available. I keep decorative bowls on tables throughout the house. They look like part of the decor, but my pets have access to water no matter what room they’re in.

well ive been diagnosed with anorexia but the thing is during the week when i’m at school i eat usually between 600-700 calories at the weekend i binge, i cant purge (throw up), im in a cycle and im scared… i went to my shrink yesterday after 6 months who is not helping she was worried as im 5’9 at my worst i was 108 during recovery i went up to 115 but now im down to 101lbs within 4 months, i faked the recovery, she now thinks im worse than ever, before i ate 150 calories a day but binged at least 3 times a week (a binge to me is between 1000-2500 calories) both my GP and her say that my weight is critical my BMI is 15.1, my shrink wants to put me into inpatient and then begin recovery once im at a healthier weight, i dont think i need help i dont think i deserve it, the thing is she isnt helping me and there are no other shrinks in my area unless we pay for one but we dont have enough money if i dont see her and i continue to lose weight i’ll be sectioned!! im 16 and from the UK i can refuse treatment but as i am under 18 i can legally be sectioned, do i even sound that bad? i dont want to go to hospital but the treatments not working what do i do?

mental- i have depression, anxiety and slight OCD as well, slowly isolating myself i feel so awful for my friends and family that have to put up with me thats why i faked the recovery to hope they would think im fine (my parent dont think there is anything wrong with me thank goodness) constantly thinking about food and lack of concentration not good fot the a levels :/
physical- always tired, cold, hands and feet go blue, havent had a period in nearly 6 months, nails are brittle and my face has a pale/ grey tinge to it

I know every woman has different symptoms i.e. some woman get morning sickness, some don’t (Like my mother, she never got it.)
The first day of my last period was on July 31st. My husband “came” in me a lot during the two weeks after my (P). He came in me two days before I was to technically ovulate, which was the fourteenth.
We did use spermicide after wards.
Anywho, I have been feeling weird lately. My stomach is much bigger than normal, I got sick after dinner last night (I started to get acid reflux/and chunks coming up) It feels really bloated. I asked my husband if dinner made him sick, and he said no. I’ve been eating a lot of food lately (Could be PMS though.)
Here are some of the biggies: Sperm was inside me around ovulation time, I had a clear/milky fluid coming from my breasts a few days ago & when my husband was sucking on them he said it tasted bitter/sweet. (I’ve never had fluid come out of them before, I thought this wasn’t suppost to start until way later in a pregnancy, but I read about a woman on here, who said it started w/her right away.)
I had brownish bleeding a couple of weeks ago and it only lasted a bit. ( I assumed it was from us being rough. For I had some too the other night.) Could be implantation bleeding?
I know everyone is different … but does this sound like I’m pregnant? Or is some of it PMS?
When would a test work for me to take to show results, if I were pregnant?

I have been peeing a lot & have had an on and off again headache the past couple of days. My husband has been really worried and wants me to go to the doctor tonight if it doesn’t stop. I am not on any medications. I’ve always been healthy as a horse.

This is my situation. I’m 16, and 5 days ago i was made to go to an anorexia home. I don’t see why i had to go because i am never going to change who i am.
Anyway, yesterday i had to join everyone for the first time for dinner. They gave me the biggest portion on spaghetti i have ever seen, and just looking at it made me feel sick. I had about 2 mouthfuls then when i said i was done, they told me i was going nowhere until the plate was clear. After about 3 hours i still wasn’t eating any because i felt so sick. I was the only girl left there, so the staff said they would have to force feed me if i didn’t start eating it.
Then i stated crying and screaming i wouldn’t. So they they called for more staff and some were trying to hold me down, while the others fed me. It was a horrible experience and nobody would listen to me. I managed to get free and i ran out of the door to the garden and over the fence. They all tried to run after me but i got away.
It took me all that night to walk home, and i turned up to my friends house. Where i have been staying since. Her family don’t know i’m here otherwise they would of called somebody.
I really don’t know what to do. I am never going back to that place ever again! It was my idea of a nightmare. My weight isn’t that much of a problem that they result to terrorsing me. But i don’t want my mum or dad to worry. If i hand myself in, i know i will be draged staright back. I would rather die than go back.
Im not asking for help on how to put on weight! Thats exactly what i don’t want.
I need help on how to go back to my mum and dad without being draged back to that place!!

I have 4 wisdom teeth growing in terribly and ned 2 root canals. I have bad teeth 
I need a lot of dental work and have medicaid, but not a lot of money out of pocket. Any references or ideas?

I had an abscess on one of my teeth it was very painful and infected ,i went to umc hospital and they gave me a referral to their clinic they did the work on me for FREE since it was an emergency:)
