Can someone revise my paper on anerexia?
0Question : Can someone revise my paper on anerexia?
I have to write a paper and i would like your feed back i need this paper to be perfect because its the only thing passing me!
The representation of only one model of beauty on television has attributed to women forming unrealistic body image expectations and lead to an increase in anorexia among young girls. Anorexia Nervosa is a mental condition which affects one’s both physical and mental health. It is a condition that causes one to have a distorted self-image and forces themselves to starve even if their body weight is already dangerously low. They often restrict their food intake to the point where they are extremely thin.
It seems today that eating disorders are on the rise. While this may be true, the numbers may appear to grow only because more cases are being brought out into the open. The purpose of this paper is to discuss eating disorders and prove that these diseases, specifically Anorexia Nervosa, continue to plague of women due to psychological and environmental factors along with pressure from the media. The term “Anorexia Nervosa” is misleading. It means “loss of appetite due to nerves.” But people with anorexia don’t actually lose their appetite until the late stages of their starvation. Until, they do feel hungry, but they just won’t eat. People affected by anorexia have an extreme fear of gaining weight. In addition to drastic dieting, they may resort to vomiting and the use of laxatives and diuretics to lose weight. Statistics show that many teens and young adults suffer from anorexia nervosa. Without treatment, anorexia nervosa can cause serious health problems–even death! The sooner treatment begins the better the chances for a full recovery. The person with anorexia is a model child. He/She is well behaved, eager to please, and a good student who gets along well with her peers. She rarely admits that anything is wrong or that anything is wrong or that she/he extra helps. Behind the mask is an insecure, self-critical perfectionist who feels unworthy of any praises she receives. A person who has anorexia is also very concerned about whether other people like her. And she is constantly feeling self cautious about herself which makes it even worse about who she is as a person.
Anorexia nervosa is a life-threaten eating disorder defined by refusal to maintain body weight. Other essential features of this disorder include an intense fear of gaining weight, a distorted body image, and an absence of at least three consecutive menstrual cycles
(amenorrhea) when otherwise expected to occur in women. Sometimes people starve and binge, depending on the extent of weight loss. This can be physically very dangerous. On TV we see people who are rich, beautiful, and above all are thin They see these people and think if they were thin they too would be rich, and beautiful, people would like them. Eating disorders are seen primarily in western and industrialized countries, where slimness is a model of attractiveness some experts feel that the causes of anorexia are relative to demands from society and family. For many anorexics, the destructive cycle begins with the pressure to be thin and attractive. A poor self-image compounds the problem. Often anorexia starts when a teenager or young woman goes on a diet to loose a little weight. Spurred on by the compliments they get, they may become obsessed with dieting. They may think to themselves. “If losing a little weight’s well, loosing a lot must be great.” People with anorexia typically have low-self esteem and are easily that being thin would give them all the confidence in the world.
Many anorexics accept anorexia as a way of life and this is how you
become popular and loved. Many fashion models are anorexic due to pressure put on them to look thin. Then young teenagers see these stylish skinny models and fell this is acceptable to do what ever is necessary to look like these models on covers of magazines and on the cat walks. On the Internet, website are widely available which encourage anorexia. They show pictures of models, which have been altered. Their limbs have been made longer and shadows created underneath their ribs to make them look even thinner. Some people who have anorexia become obsessed with getting fit and continuously exercise but don’t replace energy lost in the body, therefore the body uses the muscle and soon it deteriorates and the person becomes weak, just so they can be thin. Many famous people have been affected by anorexia. One in particular was Karen Carpenter who was one of the first public cases know. She felt pressured by her job as a singer to look thin and beautiful so she starved herself. Karen Carpenter died February 4, 1983 of heart failure caused by chronic anorexia nervosa. She was thirty-two years old. She battled with it from 1975-1983 (when she died). She went to New York at the end of 1981 for
a year of treatment by a psychiatrist but the damage had apparently been done. Plu

How does laser hair removal leave your skin; smooth or like sand paper?
1Question : How does laser hair removal leave your skin; smooth or like sand paper?
Thinking about getting laser hair removal on my back hair.
Whenever I shave with a razor now, it’s like my t-shirts get stuck to my skin. I guess it makes my skin kind of like sand paper and the shirt can’t sit right. I wouldn’t want t shirts to permanently be like that because it’s annoying. Will laser hair removal do that too or will it make my skin smooth?

High-Fructose Corn Syrup Not That Sweet
The production of high-fructose corn syrup has many negative effects on the body, and on the environment. High-fructose corn syrup was introduced into the food market in the late 1970’s, as an effort to save money (Hand). Although high-fructose corn syrup extends the shelf life of processed foods, and is much cheaper than other, natural sweeteners, it isn’t worth including it in people’s diets when there are other alternatives (Zeratsky). Natural sweeteners are healthier, and they are eco-friendly, unlike HFCS. The production of high-fructose corn syrup should be banned, because much more than our health is at stake.
High-fructose corn syrup is very unhealthy. It leads to many things, such as diabetes, and obesity. HFCS is much worse for you than natural sweeteners are. Yet, most people take in more high-fructose corn syrup than any other sweetener. The average person takes in seventy-eight pounds of high-fructose corn syrup per year; this is extremely unhealthy (Hopkins). When HFCS is digested, it foes directly to the liver, which releases enzymes that make the body store fat. This makes triglyceride and cholesterol levels rise. HFCS causes weight gain, because it slows down the fat-burning process. Also, it doesn’t stimulate insulin production. This usually allows a person to feel full, however, since it is not stimulated, it often causes people to overeat. Almost all products made with high-fructose corn syrup are high in calories, and low in nutritional value (Zeratsky). These foods cause people to become diabetic, which in turn, cause conditions like type two diabetes, high blood pressure, and coronary artery disease (Zeratsky). Also, almost half of commercial high-fructose corn syrup contains mercury. This is just one more reason why you shouldn’t consume products that contain HFCS.
High-fructose corn syrup also has a terrible effect on the environment. When land is used solely for growing corn, it depletes soil nutrients, requiring more pesticides and fertilizers while weakening topsoil (Hartman). High-fructose corn syrup has created major problems in the Gulf of Mexico. There is an area, called the dead-zone, where virtually nothing will live because it has been starved of oxygen by the fertilizer runoff coming down the Mississippi River from the corn belt (Hartman). The production of high-fructose corn syrup is extremely hazardous to our planet, and should be banned, before it is too late.
High-fructose corn syrup is in more foods than you would expect it to be.
It’s in soda, ketchup, fruit drinks, beer, salad dressings, cereals, breads, flavored yogurt, sauces, and tons of other things (Hand). It is also in almost all fast food restaurants’ food. Just at Burger King, it is in everything from soda, to ketchup, and from breakfast syrup to tarter sauce (Kuhl). It’s even in things we think are healthy, like Burger King’s Sesame Seed Buns, and their Mott’s Applesauce (Kuhl). If you want to be healthier, you can limit the amount of high-fructose corn syrup in your diet, or eliminate it all together. Some ways to do this are to stop eating fast food, drink less soda, cut down on juices with a high concentration of sugar, and limit processed foods from your diet.
According to a recent study, sixty-five percent of the American population wants to get rid of HFCS (Nestle). This study was based on three thousand participants that were taught about the positive and negative aspects of high-fructose corn syrup. These participants were all customers of Jason’s Deli, which has over two hundred outlets in the United States. Aware of the dangers caused by high-fructose corn syrup, Jason’s Deli banned it from all of its products (Nestle). By consuming products that contain HFCS, all we are doing is supporting it. If you want a healthier lifestyle, or if you want to go green, stop taking in high-fructose corn syrup. High-fructose corn syrup should be banned everywhere, before it can do any more damage than it already has.

It is interesting to note that HFCS is not used in baby food. Do manufacturers know something that they have not disclosed to the rest of us? (add after Jason’s Deli)
In addition to causing soil depletion in the Gulf of Mexico, corn is one of the most genetically modified plants in existence. Banned in Europe, this Frankenfood’s pollen has overtaken most of the US corn crop. The chances of consuming US corn or any of its byproducts untouched by GMO are relatively nil.

Dental Marketing White Paper: Personalized Direct Mail
0Variable color digital printing
To develop a successful dental marketing approach in this modern, hyperactive consumer market, it is essential for general dental and specialty go generic current incumbent. Even the “address label” custom and / or personalization in black and white letters on current dental patients has its limits. Color variable digital printing has a strong potential for achieving the objectives of internal and external communication for many types of dentistry, including cosmetic, family and orthodontist.
Dental and orthodontic practice not seen in a growth mode market in good health or those of the withdrawal of the last few months or years, require advanced marketing methods. This practice will not be able to succeed in attracting consumer attention and dollars, without their repertoire of marketing.
Overcoming the economic development, insurance or consumer issues such as denial, procrastination and ignorance oral requires a higher degree of interaction, the intensity and creativity. Variable digital printing puts more weight on the receiver. By the beneficiary “in concept” rather than “supplement” the concept, has a dramatic effect compared to traditional direct mail.
IMPLICATIONS OF THE CONSUMER />
The personalization inherent in variable pressure creates a special bond with the recipient of consumers - current and future dental / orthodontic patients:
• It is the consumer experience surrounding dental />
• They are an integral part of communication is not only a blow />
• It has an emotional impact not only conjunctive visual impact
• The name “design” reflects back to them, the communicative impact
- The effect is much more about it than you (the dentist or orthodontist)
Customize schematically
See diagram concept
Cost-benefit analysis />
Although the initial cost should be in the selection of a marketing concept to be, it's really the potential results to be purchased. If the low price of the product is ineffective, the initial cost is irrelevant. 100 percent more pay for something that works really benefit the buyer more.
As discussed above and presented, provides variable pressure, the possibility of text throughout the dental and orthodontic marketing piece Place. This unique printing technology and its ability to adapt requires a complex and individualized. The offset (in thousands of variants of the exact same room) is cheaper for this reason. Although printing costs more variable, it offers much more.
The offset printing today offers savings – variable printing provides more patients of tomorrow. Attracting and retaining the attention of consumers in the 21 Century Dentistry involves using the best available communication directory. Variable print offers the dentist and the orthodontist, the intensity needed to dominate the noise of the current marketing year.
To avoid putting the pitfalls of poor dental marketing costs in its place. More importantly, do not give that advantage away apart from your competitors or orthodontic dentistry.
Detailed results
Response rates are dramatically improved with adjustment of the variable digital printing. Dental and orthodontic postcards have become signature pieces instead of stacks of printed paper. Offset printing – do not reach this level of response because of its link to the generic and individual recipient
– thousands of printed pieces without adjustment.
Response rates in the traditional black and white, offset printing, mailing and current residents is 0.03% to 1% in most industries. Here are the steps of the improvement seen once more data, color and implemented individually.
• 44% improvement of the reaction by adding the recipient’s name on the printed page (not the current office holder) *
• 135% Response Improvement by adding color in a printed document *
• 500% Response Improvement by the recipient’s name, color and customization of content for the interests of the recipient *
Variable Digital Printing * – Results of the industry
OFFSET COMPARISON />
The offset printing often has a lower cost of entry. The Elixir of the cost is cheaper very powerful. However, a positive answer (and more patients), the dentists and orthodontists is to be demanded. Postcard printing variable orthodontics and dentistry has more initial investment, but if the value is a better answer entered into the equation, the cost of entry is irrelevant.
For example:
Dental Practice # 1: 10,000 postcards, 000 is quite common for offset printing **
Dental Practice # 2: 10.000 postcards, 000 quite often for printing variable **
** These averages include all costs: shipping, distribution, color printing on both sides, design and head of the list />
A more positive response rate of 0.75% with offset printing / mailing of 10,000 postcards produce 75 calls. (This response rate reflects offset printing / marketing, including color and placement of the recipient's name in the address).
However, creating the possibility of variable adaptation print the potential 125-150 calls. Although this level of increased response is an estimate, has the impression that only the number of real patients by slightly more than repay the initial cost-benefit increases offset printed postcards offer dental and orthodontic. Only a few more patients 7 would to $ 25,000 in future income
However, there is another important limitation in this comparison and offset printing variable printing. What if the local competition and orthodontic tooth is already a mismatch of addresses printed directly? The competition will lower response rate -. Variable print offers the dentist or orthodontist a distinct advantage in this competitive environment
CONCLUSION
dental and orthodontic Direct Marketing is evolving. Orthodontists and dentists have to continue to innovate to stay not only in their local competition, but also to effectively engage consumers hyperactive in this environment. Most consumers are aware of the value of in modern dentistry and orthodontics.
Breaking the clutter marketing requires more than what happened yesterday. Variable digital printing is not all the problems of dental marketing dilemma, but it has the leg to orthodontics and many families / cosmetic dentistry practice to reach the next level can.
Sincerely, Dick Chwalek – Niche Dental
