I use oral contraceptives and I was wondering instead of using the inactive pills during week four when my period is due, and I were to starting using a new pack of active pills during week four would that postpone my period from coming that week?
contraceptives

Best answer:

Answer by Shteeve
It would postpone your period, however the uterean lining would still build up on top of the previous months. When you eventually decide to have your period it will be more uncomfortable than usual and may even last longer. I wouldn’t recommend it.

See your health care provider as soon as possible for consultation.
The bacterial imbalance that follows use of antibiotics may indeed allow other bacteria or fungi to take hold. Those include the candida that cause thrush. But while the “intestinal flora” supplements you mention have shown some benefits at reducing antibiotic-associated diarrhea, they have not been shown to be very effective at treating thrush. You should treat the candida with an effective antifungal medicine, such as oral fluconazole (Diflucan) or nystatin (Mycostatin), The usual bacterial population will return to your mouth and intestinal tract on its own.

Drixoral cold and Allergy, an over-the-counter drug that’s a long-acting combination of the decongestant pseudo-ephedrine and an antihistamine, has few long term side effects. Some of the short-term effects, such as sedation, may even lessen with continued use. But by using a fixed-dose combination drug, you may be taking more than what is needed to treat your allergy symptoms. If sneezing and watery eyes are your main problem, an antihistamine alone would usually suffice, and the decongestant ingredient in Drixoral would be unnecessary. See your doctor, about Advair side effects. I hope this helps you. And good luck.

Do you have a good dentist? Any recommendation for a dentist and/or oral surgeon in the Atlanta area?

2

Question : Do you have a good dentist? Any recommendation for a dentist and/or oral surgeon in the Atlanta area?
Tooth pains mean I’ll probably need to get my wisdom teeth pulled. I haven’t been to any dentist here in Atlanta yet. If you’ve had a good experience, please list the name here. A phone number will help, too. I need to buy a dental plan. So, any suggestions for a good dental plan would be appreciated as well. Thanks.
