The Center for Integrative Oncology Research at Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, WA are awarded grants of 0.1 million U.S. dollars for the study of complementary care and integration of breast cancer. The grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) is awarded officially supported a project entitled A Breast Cancer Integrative Oncology

The medical center, where my wife had cancer, she had a reference for a naturopathic doctor and we used it from a mouth cancer treatments of chemotherapy and radiation. Even after her cancer treatment, we are following the advice of one. But as seen by the oncologist? The oncologist never told not to do, which recommended the naturopathic doctor, but it seems to me that she saw his expertise a little different. So how are naturopathic doctors seen by oncologists and surgeons? Peter to be careful! The medical center where my wife had her cancer had a reference for a naturopathic doctor and we used one throughout her cancer treatments of chemotherapy and radiation. Even after her cancer treatment we are following the advice of one. But how are they viewed by oncologists? The oncologists never said not to do what the naturopathic doctor recommended, but it seems to me they viewed his expertise a little differently. So how are naturopathic doctors viewed by oncologists and surgeons?
