About the Authors
Nanda Fischer has played an active part of the year and also competed in various sports since his childhood. Currently she is a first-class international senior tennis player and enjoys exercise and in the water and in the footsteps of Orange County as often as possible. She holds a doctorate in sports science and literature and was a professor at Loyola University of Chicago, the Technical University of Munich. She has written over fifty articles and several books on physical activity, sports science and literature and has edited or co-editor of five pounds. She has also translated numerous books on American sport and physical activity in German. His book sold 20,000 copies on the junior tennis and has been translated into Italian. She has three grown children and lives in Newport Beach, California as part of the year for almost twenty years. Finally, there is a cancer survivor, his well-being of the “positive” stress they experienced regularly during training outside the web.

Gamboa was an avid outdoor exercise all his life. Growing up as a competition horse, she now enjoys activities such as trail hiking, mountain biking, jogging, inline skating and many other sports. I go to a weekly support group for people with depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, etc. I have met many people who swear that antidepressants dramatically improved their lives. Others reported moderate, little, or no success with antidepressants.
This difference in the efficacy of medication is true of many medications, not just antidepressants. To put it simply, some people respond extremely well to antidepressants, while some do not.
There has been a tiny percentage of people, mostly teenagers, who committed suicide while taking antidepressants. Would they have committed suicide if thay were NOT taking antidepressants? It’s impossible to tell.
The FDA is playing it safe. The FDA now makes it mandatory that ALL antidepressants come with a warning that patients may commit suicide.
For the last few years, I have been taking antidepressants because I have tried dozens of alternative medicine treatments for depression. None of them worked. I have tried acupuncture, Chinese and western herbs, nutritional supplements, dozens of different diets, psychotherapy, biofeedback, hypnosis, homeopathy, etc. None of them worked for depression.
I wish I did not have to take medication, but when everything in alternative medicine failed, I had to turn to psychiatric meds. I exercise nearly 7 days a week. That gives me some relief, but it only lasts a few hours.
