Actually yes, in the long run you get not just diminishing results but counterproductive results! An occasional treatment is fine and will look great, but over time it will cause more harm than good.

I got a quote $ 280 for 5 microdermabrasion treatments using micro crystals and mini facial after each treatment, also got quote from another spa $ 675 for 5 microdermabrasion treatments using diamond tome and then ultrasound afterwards to stimulate collagen. Does the diamond tome and ultrasound really make it so much better that it justifies the difference in cost?

The second treatment with ultra sound will probably plump up your skin temporarily if you need it. But let me caution you about microdermabrasion crystals. Most machines use aluminum crystals which have been linked to auto-immune diseases and alzheimers. My girlfriend worked with them and had them imbedded in her lungs and had breatrhing problems. Maybe a set of treatments may not hurt you , but why take the chance of breathing in something harmful. I prefer the Diamond Tome method which I have worked with. I never worked with aluminum as I refused to, I have worked with salt crystals which are Ok. Theire both doing the same thing just one blows the crystals on your face, the other one is on a wand. Also, I personally wouldn’t pay almost $ 700. I would look for another place that will give you just the microderm from the Diamond Tome alone. Good Luck!
