I also have cartilage damage under my kneecap in my right knee which i have been getting treated for the last four months. Could parvovirus cause cartilage damage under my knee cap ( patellofemoral chondromalacia syndrome).

Parvovirus can cause an inflammatory polyarthritis that sometime can mimic rheumatoid arthritis. Main difference are the duration of the symptoms (Parvovirus infection usually resolves after 6 months) and the absence of structural damage of the joints. And, No Parvovirus cannot cause chondromalacia.
