ok so my conslore wants me to tell my mom i have an eating disorder i mean i know i have it but please i dont want to be checked into a hospital okay so does anyone know like group every week therpy or something cause i wont tell her ever if shes gonna bring the hospital thing even though shes gonna find out when i have a eating disorder when i go to the detist so plz groups in bellville or st louis i live in millstadt and idk im scared i lost 23 lbs in 3 weeks is that bad

I think this is a very extra secretive, personal thing, and it’s horrifying for anyone you know to find out about it, let alone get “checked in” for it. I wish I could tell you about a group to start with, but I really don’t know and not from your area. All I can say though is that you can die from this. It’s very serious, and you need to fight your pride, fight it to save yourself. Take yourself straight to a doctor, a therapist, anyone who’s a professional you’d feel comfortable telling. And they will lead you to the right course of treatment. But don’t wait on this, and try not to hide it anymore. Good luck, and be well!
