Question : What blood glucose monitor do you use, and why do you prefer it? Just curious what other people use and why? I’ve had quite a few meters by now due to changing insurance plans by changing jobs, etc.
My personal favorite was the Freestyle Flash for two reasons. The Flash has an LED that lights up the strip so it’s very easy to test in low light conditions. It also ‘loads’ the blood on the side of the strip rather than the end, so you don’t have to twist your fingers around as much. blood glucose monitor

Question : We just found out our family cat has diabetes and we would like to find a glucose monitor system…any advice? I have looked at one called iPet glucose monitoring and another called AlphaTrak glucose monitoring. Does anyone know anything about either of these? The iPet is considerably cheaper, so that makes me think it’s not as accurate or reliable. Any info, suggestions, or sites that have reviewed them would be extremely helpful. diabetes glucose monitor
