Drinking green tea can help reduce the risk of developing gastrointestinal cancer

0

tea drinkers would be happy to learn that they could protect themselves against the risk of developing gastrointestinal cancer.

It seems that green tea may help gastrointestinal carcinogenesis. It is the process that can be converted by normal cells in the gastrointestinal tract into cancer cells.

Green tea has been found to contain high levels of antioxidants, which are very useful in the fight against cancer. Antioxidants are substances that oxidize easily, or looking in other words, victims of one of its molecules to carcinogens, connections to steal molecule from normal healthy cells.

Carcinogens, or free radicals in the body are carcinogens, because they damage the body’s cells by stealing molecules. This can cause cells to grow out of control, and thus the development of cancer cells.

Green tea is thought to be extremely beneficial, as the tea leaves are fresh and fermented, which called catechins antioxidants, which, in the leaves. The tea leaves of Camellia sinensis, the same factory that has just black tea, has come. The difference is in how the leaves are processed. . T

he black tea leaves undergo the oxidation process that oxidizes much of the specific antioxidants that are in the leaves of green tea. Of course, black teas have been found to contain numerous antioxidants useful and unique, clean, but do not contain the same amount of antioxidants than green tea.

The catechins in green tea are considered better and more powerful than the antioxidants present in black tea, because they are soluble in water and oxidizes easily, giving them a better chance to neutralize free radicals before that ‘they will only damage the chances of body cells.

There are currently 30 epidemiological studies of green tea used for the prevention of cancer. However, there are very few studies on the treatment of pre-existing cancer with green tea. Most studies on green tea are antioxidants, whether in tea leaves to prevent gastrointestinal cancer.

A special study on laboratory rats showed that 8% of the 93rd a group of rats survived catechins extracted from green tea after exposure to a carcinogen, mammary gland (DMBA). It is on at 33 3% in the control group of rats fed catechins not protection.

In another study conducted in 1004 Chinese: 190, stomach cancer, 42 had cancer of the esophagus, and 772 of them had been free of cancer.

These men were studied over 4-12 years. Participants who were known to regularly drink green tea showed a 50% lower risk of developing cancer of the esophagus and stomach.

This is a significant difference. Basically this means that participants under 50% in the group of tea drinkers develop cancer than that found in the group do not drink tea regularly.

There are a total of nearly eight studies that show that drinking green tea on a regular basis can reduce the risk of stomach cancer. It is possible that green tea is also effective in preventing cancer of the esophagus and stomach, as it moves through the intestine and is in direct and prolonged contact with these tissues.

Many researchers say it is too early to state conclusively that green tea may help protect consumers from developing countries gastrointestinal cancers and also in the fight against cancer, which has developed all loans.

However, current clinical studies appear promising. Many tea drinkers drink say the potential benefits of green tea outweighs the minor inconvenience.

Green tea has been used for hundreds of thousands of years in China and Japan. In fact, the figures indicating the risk of developing gastrointestinal tumors in these two countries with the lowest in the world

Not all green teas are the same. There is a wide gap between green tea on the freshness, consistency and concentration of antioxidants in tea. Information on the concentration of antioxidants can sometimes be found on the packaging.

It is better to have for your brand of green tea to find and stick with them, usually drink tea.
