I have about a 1mm-2mm gap in my front teeth thats barely noticable to anyone else, but to me it just annoys me for some reason, so I want to get it bonded… how much should that run me? I was told to try the normal dentists first because the cosmetic dentists would jack the price up a ton to do the same thing… is that true?

i’ve had braces for about 10-11 months now, and i’ve seen a vast improvement. At the moment i’m waiting on my bite moving back so i can get my lower teeth braces but on my top teeth, i have a gap in my front two teeth because i had overlapping teeth beforehand. I was just wondering do you know how long it will take before this gap goes away? Thank you.

It shouldnt take long if you fallow all of the Dr.’s instructions. I had a horriable overbite, and they told me that it would be three years untill i got my braces off. But I ended up getting them off in a little less than two. So just follow his/her orders and they’ll be off before you know it. :] Good Luck!

Question : How do I get rid of scars in front of my ears after a face lift?
I am sixty years old and had a face lift with very pleasing results except that after three months the red scars in front of my ears are still very visible. The scars cramp my life style, because I do not want everyone to know my secret which is difficult to hide since I am a outdoor, sporty woman. Firstly, is this normal and secondly, what can I do to get rid of these unsightly scars.

Question : Will porcelain crowns look natural for my two front teeth?
My two front teeth are dead, because they were hit with a softball. I had two root canals a year ago and now I’m noticing some discoloration. To get them whiter I know I have to get a porcelain crown, and whiten my other teeth. But will the porcelain crown look natural with the other teeth? I’m only 15 and I don’t want to have a bad smile for high school, and for it too look fake.

I have porcelain crowns on my tooth front teeth, they’re already glued on. They’re the same shape as my old teeth but i liked the shape of the temporary crowns better. Is it too late to get my dentist to sort of cut down the porcelain crowns? I go in for a follow up on Tuesday.

yeah if your unhappy with them they will do it. I have a porcelain crown on one of my front teeth and I made them redo it because it didn’t look natural to me the first time.

My teeth are shaped, very strange, and braces do not help. They are unusually large and I want Veneers / Lumineers receive so that they are of normal shape and pretty. About how much it will cost to complete the first six teeth on the top?
Once veneers done on my front teeth I still have a lot of pain and discomfort. Is this temporary?

The veneers were done second 5 month ago and covered six upper and six lower front teeth. The whole process was extremely unpleasant, most of my teeth were shaved off (dentist said to do it was because I had too many fillings), and I have a lot of pain and tenderness in the air, hot and cold since then had. It has become somewhat better, but I’m not in a position somewhat difficult, or even a fruit without biting pain or discomfort. I wonder if my teeth were permanently damaged.
