thedogliberator. blogspot. com She was everyone’s dog, and had more than enough love to share with friends and neighbors. At the time of her death, she was surrounded by all who loved her. As she matured, she was known as Lady Reckless because of her noble and gentle soul. As I embark on writing a book about her life, and the people that she touched, I find myself having a difficult time just getting through each day without her. During her last week, we were grateful to have a Karunda bed. She was transported from her room of choice like a queen on her litter, and we were happy to do whatever she wanted. From 1 on was photographed and videotaped the week of her death, the last few photos were taken the day of her death. Tinsel Town, my other Border Collie seriously grieved for at least week, and refused to eat. She recovered, and then fell back into depression again. We are doing everything we can to keep her going.
