Question : Where can my mother get free diabetic testing supplies? She is 50 and just found out she has diabeties. She does not have medical insurance where she works and is not on medicare or medicaid. I have done a little research about this online and everything I found, you had to have insurance or be on medicare. She has neither, and the test strips she needs cost $ 50 a pack. With the medications she is already paying for, it could create a hardship. Thanks for any advice you might have. diabetic testing supplies

Answer by Nicola DI wouldn’t think so my local hospital gets supplies from various different organisations and if my blood glucose monitor breaks down they ask me which one I’d like to use and offer me a couple of choices usually.
