Dealing with temporary insomnia due to bad choices and not medical conditions?
0Question : Dealing with temporary insomnia due to bad choices and not medical conditions?
I have a habit of staying up late due to bad choices like drinking caffeine containing sodas and also by waking up late in the morning. Should I just go to bed when I’m tired and set the alarm early, or would it be better to stay up all night and see if I can reset my circadian clock again? Just wondering.

temporary insomnia is one of the easiest things to talk about fixing, but pretty difficult to get completely rid of. i have dealt with this problem (due to work/school/nights out/traveling) for a long time and am finally starting to get a grasp on the problem.
first, you are going well to recognize the problem, drinking or eating things that keep you up. you know, then, that staying away from these will take some self control, but because you have pointed it out in the problem, i will assume you know how important keeping away from foods and drinks close to bedtime is.
no doubt, that staying up all night is a decent way to reset the circadian clock. the only problem is that you could tire your body out too much and be tired for many days following the all-nighter. i do not recommend this method because being tired all day sucks. every day that you stick to a set sleep schedule you will be less tired, but you will likely feel like sleeping any chance you get–and that will kill all momentum a regular sleep schedule will bring.
i recommend your first idea. set the alarm to a time when you know that you will get some sleep. force yourself to get up when the alarm goes off. stay busy all day and try not to think about sleep. i do this by cramming my schedule with activities, mostly athletic. any way that you can keep your eyes open and not thinking about being tired will help you win the war. then, when it gets late enough the next night, set your alarm so that you get the amount of sleep you need to feel awake the next day. wake up on time the next day and you should feel like your inner clock is set and ready to get back to a regular schedule.
hope this helps, i have spent many years wrestling with the split sleep and insomnia issues and i would not wish that battle on anyone. life is too short to be tired all day!

Binge Eating Disorder Help: Dealing with fear and doubt
0I hear it from my customers all the time. “I’m afraid that if I do not binge eater I am,” or “I’m binging afraid to stop Whatever you fear, you might be more exaggerated Face Your Fear. and dealing with doubt is an important step in the treatment of binge eating.
fear drives us to do many things and one of them is to provide alternative sources of protection, look for them to hide. We use Food hiding out of fear. We are afraid we will once again hurt by a person. We are afraid of our boss. We are afraid to see the real person in us. We are afraid our parents, spouse, fear, etc. . child’s face behind.
Try a list of what or who you fear. Be honest. No judge and no one will read your list, then go ahead and do it please. What you really fear?
Now that you have your list, you can start a few simple steps to reduce your anxiety. Here are 5 tips you can get started quickly.
1 Use a journal to record your thoughts. – When writing this is that you are afraid, and why, start the process of becoming “aware” To change something, you should be aware
2 Become the Observer -. Imagine, show you from a distance, as if you saw on a movie screen You are currently are in the audience and you can see up there on the big screen you. can see, even afraid of (whatever you are afraid of) and you can see on the screen in a very shocked response. The room can be the person on the screen and you just have to see, no part of it. The person on the screen really need to fear he / she is afraid? sit with the audience and present up to there, are able to remain calm and see the situation. Use your journal to write what the film and was how the person may be less afraid
3 Basic Doubt -… doubt and lack of self confidence can contribute to fear they are also important factors in binge eating, you can now start your challenge convictions with the question “why?”
Suppose I think it is wrong to sit on the front seat of a school bus. Do you think there is something wrong with sitting in the passenger seat of a school bus? The reason for my belief is that my teacher told me I was in the passenger seat, it would push my legs shorter than the rest of the children. ” So I think I may never stop. How do I know if this belief is true or not? Someone told me if I believe him. You are probably saying, shaking his head, he’s not real right? But I think it is. They are now trying to convince me that this is not true because you saw little Johnny sitting there and nothing was done to his legs. For me to believe that something else, I would have to question my faith and find facts to support it. Perhaps my teacher told me that because his teacher told him that, so he thought.
Now when I tell you that you have an eating disorder were worthless. Do you think this is true or false? If you answer “true” why do you think? Who told you that true? I tend to believe is wrong. I know that as an eating disorder not define who a person. Challenge your negative beliefs.
4 Use the Law of Attraction -?. Law of Attraction, that “like attracts like” if you focus on fear, what will you fear success more rights, but if you focus on, happy and confident, have more of what you want. Try to find a positive way what you want and focus on this problem does not specify on what you do not want. For example, if you like, “I did not want to live in fear, you’re always focusing on fear. Re-state,” I want to live in joy. “
5 meditation / visualization -.? Imagine if you had no fear with regard to some person, place or thing what would it look like What does it smell or feel what you hear or taste in your world without fear, use your senses, can You just write in your journal what it is, is not afraid. Then close your eyes and look good in your eyes in your head what you wrote. all the wonderful aspects.
One of the easiest ways to overcome your fear is to surround yourself with positive people who focus on the same goals as you are. It is the law of attraction to the people. If you surround yourself with negative people you attract more negativity, so make a conscious decision, new people and new support groups to meet with a positive direction.
