Question : Should self induced obesity be considered a handicap?
Does the government investigate if an obese person is obese because of a health disorder or if it’s self induced? If so, do you think self induced obese people should be treated as handicapped? ….and have scooters?

While on a personal level, you or I may be able to say X is disease-induce and Y is self-induced, the government can’t, its considered discrimination. Its like saying someone with bulimia shouldn’t be treated for their condition but someone with a stomach virus should, its still a medical problem and can’t be treated preferentially.

for them at the company’s expense. I always assumed that they had something like MS or some other mobility limiting illness. As it turns out, it’s just because they’re obese. Not that it’s really my business, but….
it came up because I’ve been on crutches with a broken ankle, and the security guy said that if I got tired of hobbling around, they could buy me a scooter. I was shocked, and he said have them just because they’re fat.” I checked it out, and he was right. I still didn’t take him up on it though.

I think that they may need it because of getting tired and can’t breath normally. Obese people are known to be lazy and this is a form of laziness.

When is a Herpes Blood Test considered accurate?

Question : When is a Herpes Blood Test considered accurate?
Hello

I feared that I may have been exposed to Genital Herpes 5 weeks ago, and I have no obvious symptoms other than itching.

It’s been 34 days since I may have caught the virus and I want to know if it is the right time to get a blood test? Would a blood test at this stage be considered accurate or should I wait a little bit longer to get the Herpes blood test? And how long should I wait?

Thanks a lot

Well Herpes takes about 1 week in its incubation period. In other words, for the symptoms of herpes to start developing. To what i know the herpes blood test can be more accurate after 1 week of having caught the virus.
So NO dont wait any longer! Go and get checked already.

what is considered anorexia?

Question : what is considered anorexia?
i guess i am what you would consider “anorexic” or on the road to becoming one. i constantly think about my weight, and i go for days on end without eating or eat no more than 500 calories a day, etc.

all this started because i gained about 10 llbs. up until then i had always been very skinny and small,as i am only 5’0 tall. i started to feel really bad about myself and “decided” to become anorexic. i researched; i know all the symptoms, health risks, treatment options, etc.

what does this mean? does it still make me an anorexic? i dont really feel this is so because i wasnt naive going into the whole ordeal.

am i doing it for attention? i recently moved out of an abusive home (about a year ago) and when i was young i was molested. does this have anything to do with it?

im so confused because i know my obsessive thoughts and feelings about my weight are real,so its not like im making them up.what are your thoughts/opinions?what should i do?

i am so lost.
i am 5’0 tall and 110 pounds,im at a “healthy weight” but im still not happy with it.

Why an electric toothbrush is considered essential if you want to reduce tartar and gum disease?

3

I’ve read that cleaning gums and teeth can be greatly reduced, causing the gums to recede, but had been told that an eclectic toothbrush is essential if you want to reduce tartar and gum disease. I would think that the electric toothbrush would be as the same as brushing your teeth too hard. Seems contradictory. Anyone?

Why isn’t the threat of stiffer penalties for refusing a breathalyzer considered a form of coercion?

It seems that I have the right to refuse to take a breathalyzer. But isn’t the threat of higher penalties a form of trying to coerce a person into taking the test. Can this be considered an infringement on a person’s 5th Amendment rights. .
