That will be difficult to find, since there are no reliable ratings of these programs. You may find some ratings based on popularity, but little based on data. So, find campuses you are interested in, and in IL and CO there are a limited number, and e-mail each one and ask for their students’ scores on the GRE Psych exam. The problem is that only a fraction of psych grads take that exam. Psych is one of the most popular majors, but not everyone wants to go to grad school in psych.

If you don’t mind living on the west side of the country, I would recommend Arizona State University. It has one of the largest teacher preparation programs in the US, and was originally founded in the late 1800′s as a teachers college. The Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at ASU is one of the most innovative schools in America. They’re always trying new things, and really work to make the best prepared teachers before they graduate!
I have been working for the college for 2 years while working on my bachelor’s degree for secondary education, and couldn’t be happier with the school. You have the option of getting certified for special education K-12 and elementary education 1-8 at the same time; you’ll still graduate in 4 years, but you’ll have 2 teaching certificates instead of just one (don’t worry-it’s not any more work than just getting one certificate). There is also a graduate program specifically for special education of students with autism.
Here’s the website if you want to know more information:

Or you can call an undergraduate advisor with specific questions:
Lacey Prokop: (480) 965-5555
Liz Langowski: (602) 496-2046
Jackie Chamberlain: (602) 543-6354
Best of luck in choosing the college that’s right for you!
