I HAD A LIFE THREATENING CONDITION IN WHICH I HAD TO HAVE A HYSTERECTOMY A FEW YEARS AGO AND WITHIN THE FIRST MONTH GAINED 20 POUNDS DESPITE A GREAT DIET AND EXERCISING 5-7 DAYS A WEEK FOR 2 1/2 HOURS INCLUDING CARDIO AND LIGHT WEIGHT TRAINING. BEFORE THE HYSTERECTOMY I WAS NEVER OVERWEIGHT. SINCE HAVING IT I HAVE BEEN BATTLING WITH MY WEIGHT AND NO AMOUNT OF EATING RIGHT AND EXERCISING HAS CORRECTED THE PROBLEM. I HAVE SINCE GAINED 50 POUNDS. I HAVE NOT FOUND A DOCTOR WHO WILL HELP ME. THEY CLAIM MY THYROID IS WITHIN NORMAL RANGE ALTHOUGH ABOUT 6 YEARS AGO I HAD A CYST REMOVED FROM MY THYROID.
