0

In an article in Dermatologic Surgery published by Blackwell Publishing, carried out a comparative study on four major charges in the U.S. market. Among these charges were Juvederm, Juvederm Ultra, Perlane, Radiesse and. Due to the increasing popularity of these charges on the youth and the rejuvenation, these data are of crucial importance for all practicing physicians and their patients. The comparative factors of these products have been on the satisfaction of patients and the length of the product. The comparison is more standardized, it implements two scales. World Aesthetic Improvement Scale (Gais) and Wrinkle Treatment Severity Rating Scale (WSRS)

With the growing popularity of fillers, have patients and doctors raised questions about the quality and efficiency. The study was designed to give patients and doctors make better decisions on the rates for the best results with minimal costs in general. A group of 205 patients aged 18 to 80 (52 being the median) were randomized to a sufficient amount of a charge revealed dermal (Radiesse, Juvederm, Juvederm Ultra, Perlane or) administered to produce the maximum results. They were then asked to return for touch-up in four months. Once they have finished processing, then they come back at 4, 8 and 12 points per month for a revaluation.

In four months after her first treatment, all patients received an important and discussed their satisfaction and performance results to date. Of the four types of filler, Radiesse patients reported higher satisfaction levels. Juvederm at this time received the lowest rating.

When patients to re-evaluate the periods 4 and 8 months were returned, all patients administered Radiesse about the same level of satisfaction reported. Perlane and Juvéderm ULTRA was right around that point while Juvederm new application is required in most patients. In 12 months, Radiesse has the greatest patient satisfaction with minimal application. Juvéderm the lowest level was with the greatest amount of product used.

Patient satisfaction is based on the overall impression of appearance or nonappearance of the nasolabial folds (NSE). Although all the strains tested were doing, what she should do, the amount of material used varies considerably. This table summarizes the amount of product in the period of 1 year to try to use:

• Juvéderm – 8 syringes
• Juvéderm ULTRA – 4 Squirt
• Perlane – 3 syringes
• Radiesse – 2 syringes

must always consider cost efficiency in considering cosmetic surgery. The results can be compensated for costs and the amount of future work that might be necessary to decrease. On a side note, Radiesse is a rare cutaneous type of strain that the associated compliance, especially in patients with facial lipoatrophy with HIV.
