My brother who is not yet 40 just had quadruple bypass surgery, and the Dr’s then decided it would be best for him to also have an ICD or cadiac defibrillator. I am wondering about his quality of life with the ICD and on his chances of returning to work. He has always done fast food, or hard labor. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, do you feel better since or not?

This happend to my uncle. His chances of returning to work are so so. I suggest he gets this ICD though.

The family feels scared, helpless and confused. The only help for the addict is to enter a residential treatment program. From my experience, out-patient doesn’t work, counseling alone doesn’t work and suboxone alone doesn’t work. Get the patient into a treatment center. At least there will be hope again.

I think the drug you are referring to is Micardis (It is a angiotensive receptor blocker used for hypertension).

It is reported that the drug could cause erectile dysfunctions but no evidence to say that it interferes with reproductive system.

I have tried Claritin and after a week I become immune to it and have to take 2 or 3 more. I love Zyrtec, it is now over the counter, which is great. It can be pricey. $ 25.00 or so, but it is wonderful.

I had a breast augmentation last June and I just started tanning again for the first time since before my surgery. I have noticed that my chest and breasts seem to get redder and more irritated from the tanning beds than the rest of my body. I know that tanning at all is not good for my skin or body, but that is not my question.

Essentially, I am wondering if tanning is negatively affecting my implants?

I’d definately check that out with my doctor if I were you. If you tan in a tanning bed mayber it’s that they’re closer to the bulbs? But I’d still ask my doctor just in case.
