Advair – What is the difference between the two discs?
I take Advair 100/50 mg. However, I was 250/50 mg for the last time I got my medicine given. I’m almost out of me and I wonder if it even sure if I have another? Reply

I am an asthmatic .. If you run with the lowest dose … In terms of 100/50, you stay with this test. They had me on the higher dose, and I started with strange aching pain in the arms and almost like I could not lift his arm. After leaving the high dose .. the pain is gone. I want to talk to my doctor, but if you grip the lower rate .. I would. I guess Symbiacort now and I am very satisfied with the results. Good Luck .. but take no longer than necessary.

You will be fine! Me and my mom have taken advair every spring season for almost my whole life.
This last time the doc gave us the 250/50 as well and it IS a bit stronger ( slightly higher dosage)
The worst that happened to me is that I got a little dizzy one day, but then I took the med on a completely empty stomach.
Oh yea nd the pharmascist explained the higher dosage was due to our complaints of more symptoms ( well my moms anyway)

This is really something only your doctor who prescribed the Advair should be answering as he has all your medical history.
If he gave you the stronger dosage last time then that’s the one you should be using.
If I were you though I’d just phone his surgery and make sure that’s what he wants you to take as this is more than double the strength of the first one.
