In the USA, the numbers are milligrams of sugar per decaliter (10 liters) of blood. Some meters in Canada and most in Europe use different units to measure blood glucose levels. Normal blood sugar levels used to be defined as between 70 and 110 mg/dcl. Some people normally have blood sugars in the 60′s. Every-one’s metabolism is slightly different, what’s normal for one person might be very abnormal for some one else.
