Question : Im looking to get my family dental insurance, but i dont know where to start!?
Im in california. Can you recommend any insurance providers, or at least tell me where to look? phone book? random online search?

I know SafeGuard offers individual plans in CA. I don’t know what the cost would be, but it couldn’t hurt to check it out.

I would encourage you to visit this great website: http://www.healthsavings.ourperfectcard.com I signed up online over 5 years ago and they have saved me thousands of dollars on all of my dental services since. There are several ways to purchase dental insurance for your family, including searching online, etc.
However, I suggest you contact an independent insurance agent. An agent can walk you through the different plans and what they have to offer and make sure you get the coverage you need.
The best thing is that independent agents don’t charge you for their services. They are paid a commission by the insurance company. The price you pay for insurance is the same if you use an agent or not, so go for the free advice and guidance they can offer.
You can find an agent by just looking under Insurance in your phone book or going online and doing a google search for your area.
