Not always but I know my friend used to be really anoreixic and she got put into an eating disorder clinic and still refused to eat so they had no choice but to put a tube into her to feed her so she wouldn’t die. Not nice but it had to be done

…and if you won’t eat on your own they will feed you through an iv or a feeding tube if it gets really bad!!!

…so it would actually be in ones best interest to just eat it on your own without being forced the indignity of being literally force fed

If you won’t eat on your own, then they will insert a feeding tube. This can be a very painful process but it necessary to keep people from starving to death.
