Question : As an adult, have you ever considered getting braces?
Don’t put it off. I’m so glad I did – my braces come off next month. Adult orthodontics is very common now.

Yes i am 22 and i am getting my braces they are really expensive mine are around 4,900.

I had braces when I got my first job right after my college graduation, but my threshold for pain is so low. I had to have the braces removed, and my separated lower teeth extracted instead. I got dentures instead.

I think as an adult you are mentally mature to handle it more than if you were younger. Besides there are alot of cool kinds of braces to choose from now. No one can call you metal mouth.

I got them when I was 22. So glad!! only had to have them on 1 year!! That was 2 years ago

Well, I had braces when I was a kid, but I wouldn’t say no to cosemtic dentistry if I could afford it. Whitening, veneers, that sort of thing.

I agree. Unfortunately I had to get mine taken off half way through because I was having financial problems. I hope to get them again someday and get them completely fixed.
