How accurate is home drug test especially for teens?

Question : How accurate is home drug test especially for teens?
I have a 16 yrs.old son. I just heard his conversation with his pal, they mentioned something about getting more “red”, and he said that he wants to quit, so I went online to check that slang of meaning “red”, and that’s why I want to get a home drug test to check him. So, how accurate are home drug tests?

99.9% most of them it should tell u on the box

I drug test my kids a few times a month. They are very accurate and can test for multiple substances. The ones i get test for THC, ecstasy, meth, opiates, and amphetamines. They are cheaper than the ones that you find at pharmacys too. I get them at

the home drug tests are just as accurate as a screening test such as what would be done for pre-employment or in a hospital.

Also most companies that manufacture home based drug tests allow you to send them specimen for confirmation. This test would be done by GCMS, and would detect any amount of any substance in someone’s urine/blood/hair/saliva. However if you get a home test and results are negative you can be assured that it is accurate.

Pretty accurate. I take them for THC and I have not been let down yet. Most of them will give you results in 5 minutes and they also give you a mail in pack so you can send it to a lab to get official results.
