i dont use the cream , its the gel. but no i dont use anything else on my face

trust me my face was so burned from tazorac that i couldnt even smile, and it made my face itch. but i just continued using the product and it started to work. like i say,” in order for ur face to get better , it has to get worse”. and its so tru when using acne meds.

i know, it does to for me so i use it every other nite instead of every nite. and like i’ve said all acne meds do that no matter what its gonna burn and peel and turn red

Thanks for spreading the word about tazorac. I wasted alot of time with proactiv before going to the derm and getting this. While I still break out, my skin looks alot better. I’m happy to hear it helped you out too.

My dermatologist prescribed this to me after I was done with accutane to help with the scars. All it has done is making my face peel. Did it help fade your scars too?

at first it did but as u can tell i didnt have that bad of scarin but now my face is even worse( do to stress) but im planning on updating everything next year because i have to go back to the dermo to see what else they can do for me cause the tazorac isnt working for me anymore

I have a different tube and it’s cream and it made me react really really badly. I started using it for 2 days and now my skin is peeling and around my mouth area its red, literally I look like I have melanoma because my mouth area is red and the rest is white .. ITS HORRIBLE. But thank you for the review, I’m hoping my skins reaction is like yours.

For me it worked like magic, i had fairly bad acne, not that bad though. When i put it on, the first week my face was peeling like CRAZY! cause it gets to the next layer of skin. It didnt burn my face (i used another perscribed cream for redness) Although, all of you who say it burned my skin or made it itch, those are side affects and they should go down after a while, thats how most products work, you obviously didnt give it enough time to work properly. Ya worked on me and you!

I’ve been using Tazorac consistently for years. It makes my skin texture baby smooth. I use the cream instead of the gel. The gel is way too drying for me. I breakup once in a while. but it’s never severe.

I’ve been using this product for about two weeks.. and I had moderate acne.. I didn’t experience any burning.. But my face did peel alittle in the morning.. But I see a major difference in my face already.. it’s getting evened out.. and is making my face softer.. so it’s a success for me

@SpeedReycer … I didn’t experience any wierd side affects.. but before you use it.. use the face wash.. that you using.. I’m using Zoderm.. Hydrating wash.. from my dermatologist.. After you wash your face.. just pat your face try.. you only need about a pea size amount of the Tazarac gel.. and apply it to your problem areas.. and that’s about it.

@SpeedReycer Always wash your face first. Try using a good toner too, like witch hazel. :3 thats what I do. then wait for the witch hazel to dry and apply a small amount of tazorac to your problem areas and wait 15 mins for it to dry. Then, apply a nice moisturizer depending on your skin type (ie if you have dry or sensitive skin, use a heavier moisturizer.) Taking care of your skin while using the meds can prevent bad side effects. if your acne does get worse, give it at least a month. (cont)

(2/2) as sometimes your skin has gunk lying underneath the surface and once you start using acne medicine it flushes it all out. If it keeps getting worse the med isn’t for you, but after that initial breakout your skin should be better than ever before. sometimes it needs to get worse before it gets better. if you take good care of your skin like i mentioned, though, usually it doesn’t so much

oh and PS- use a gentle cleanser like purpose. anything with more acne meds or alcohol or stuff will be too much with the tazorac. trust me, I’ve been in the acne scene for years and am now enjoying some pretty awesome skin except for around my girly times ;] haha
