Well, you can’t know *everything* now, can you?
Take all the weirdness of me that you do know, and chalk most of it up to symptoms of bipolar. AND take into account that I’ve had almost eighteen years of treatment under my belt, having had the luck of finding a GREAT psychiatrist early on as well as a couple of equally great therapists…. if I didn’t tell people I have bipolar, no one would think I have anything further than “hyperactivity” sometimes.

Reply To @sugarpiexoxo1987 – I have found that lamictal just makes my partner go exetremely high as it is onloy effective for the depressive phases of the illness and offers no protection against mania and hypomania. That is not its mode of action. I wouod be very wary of taking it on its own as a stabilizer as it is Not actually a true stabilizer ,despite having been heralded as one, and enjoyed by the Bipola community because of its extremely good effects on Depression.

Although some of the “symptoms” listed aren’t always common for bipolar episodes (i.e., drug use isn’t necessarily a symptom of mania nor vice versa, and having suicidal thoughts doesn’t need to be present to be clinically depressed), I found this video to be extremely informative, especially in just over four minutes.
I have a friend who’s been questioning whether or not he should seek help for bipolar. This is a video I’d share with him.
