Question : How does spinal decompression help with back pain?
I have an L5 disc bulge and want to avoid surgery. I’ve seen the ads for spinal decompression and want to learn more about it. what reasearch is out there?
I am not looking for opinions about this therapy just facts, so please do not answer this question if you are an angry person who hates everything and anything good, a doctor or therapist who does not like the therapy because of their own bias or does not have the therapy in their office. Thank You.
Just looking for facts.

I have had back problems all of my life including scoliosis (curvature of the spine) as a child, and now it includes degenerative bones and arthritis.

My specialists have said to never, never use those without contacting my specialist first, and they already said no…and I’m thinking that you are talking about those “inverse” or upside down items sold on tv.

My specialist said to try acupuncture only with a licensed certified acupuncture therapist, and they provided the mandatory written referral. It has given me more mobility than I ever thought possible.
It has also given me relief that I never though was possible. I went 2 x per month and now am on maintenace which is about once a month or every other month.
It has made walking, and (slowly with the furniture slide things) doing my own housework again…possible without the pain and problems I had….all my life.

So choose well!
