How to Use the CleanWave UV-C Sanitizing Wand
When the light on the Wand turns green, the Wand is charged and ready to be used as follows:
Remove the Wand from the charger, press and hold the blue button until you hear an audible beep and “00″ shows in the display. Then, press the blue button once to begin a five minute cycle, twice to begin a 30 minute cycle, and three times to begin a 60 minute cycle. The bulb may take a moment to light. Hold the wand as close as possible to the surface being sanitized, and slowly move the Wand over the surface. A built-in timer will count down minute-by-minute and turn the light off when the cycle is complete. If you wish to stop the cycle at any time, press the button until a long beep is heard, and the wand will shut down. Replace the Wand in the charging stand by lining up the arrow on the base of the handle with the arrow on the charging stand. The wand is designed for horizontal use only. An internal safety switch will automatically turn off the wand if the light source is turned upward.
How UV-C Light Sanitizes
Natural sunlight provides us with the means to purify our drinking water, food and the environment we live in. Specifically, the sun’s ultraviolet rays contain an invisible ultraviolet “C” band that acts as a natural disinfectant. Verilux sanitizing appliances use the same safe and powerful UV-C light to deliver an odorless, chemical-free solution for keeping your home germ and allergen free. By effectively eliminating these contaminants you’ll positively affect your family’s health without chemical reactions and environmental contamination.

Review by J. Woo for Verilux CleanWave Sanitizing Light Wand
Rating:
I was totally disappointed. There was something in the wand that rattled like there was a piece loose. I returned the item. Although I use a lot of Verilux items, I do agree with other reviewers that most of their products are cheaply made.
