these work fast for migranes, I get them once in a great while. NOTHING WORKS BETTER. Also great when hungover the next morning after partying

Excedrin simply is the best for pretty much any kind of pain. There are very few times when taking one or two pills doesn’t get rid of pain, ranging from sinus pain and sore throats (I am a lifelong sinus & allergy sufferer) to stomach cramps (menstrual cycle) and headaches. I suffer from migraines and tend to have headaches regularly. I go through periods of having headaches every day, sometimes to the point of not being able to concentrate or feeling like puking. I had been to the doctor for this, and the doctors always prescribe pills you see on TV that have symptoms that are worse than the actual headache. I refused to take those pills, especially knowing that Excedrin works just fine! Two Excedrin does the job, and it does it pretty fast!Another great thing about Excedrin is, because of the caffeine, it really makes you alert after you take it. This is true even if you’re a caffeine addict aside from taking Excedrin (I drink an average of one Coke a day and used to drink more than that, and sometimes I even have chocolate, which has caffeine in it). There have been so many times when I have had a ton of work to do but had a headache and felt like I just could not go on because of the pain and feeling tired. I take Excedrin, and not only does the pain start fading almost instantly but it is as if I get renewed “energy” and focus to work for hours!
Per someone else’s review here, I tend to buy bottles of Excedrin that have at least 100 pills in it. I will not be caught without a good supply of Excedrin, given that I tend to have headaches regularly. I have never really had a problem with expiration dates. The bottle that I have been using for months expires in 2010. Every single pill still works perfectly. Maybe it depends on where you buy your Excedrin. I tend to shop at drugstore.com, Target, Walmart/Walgreens and places like that, and my bottles of Excedrin generally expire two years from when I purchase them. So even if you don’t take a pill every day, you should be fine for a long time. I have gone an entire school year with one 250-pill bottle of Excedrin, still have some left over by the end of that school year and they would all work just fine.
I do know some people who experience more times than I do when Excedrin doesn’t get the job done, such as my sister. However, she is a lifelong migraine sufferer, very serious migraine issues. My migraines, more or less, came on as the result of drinking so much caffeine throughout my life and actually quitting caffeine for one year then starting back. So, now while I have bad migraines, they are still not that of a very serious migraine sufferer, and most people’s migraines and headaches will not be that severe. Therefore, I think for most people, Excedrin will work almost every time. It does for me! There is simply no better product for pain of all kinds!!

When I was a child, Excedrin was my favorite over-the-counter pain reliever. It seemed like I had a lot of headaches and the only thing that would make them go away was Excedrin. Excedrin has a powerful combination of acetaminophen (the principal ingredient in Tylenol), aspirin, and caffeine.In addition to headaches, Excedrin is useful for a host of other temporary and minor pains.
You need to be aware of a couple of warnings regarding Excedrin.
There appears to be a connection between Reye’s syndrome and the usage of aspirin in general. According to a web site related to Reye’s syndrome, anyone of any age can get Reye’s syndrome, though it is rare. I know I took Excedrin a lot when I was a child, often when I had a fever, as did my sisters, and I never encountered a problem that I know about.
You should also be careful about taking too many Excedrin. Aspirin is a blood thinner, and it can interact with other medications and cause problems. Also, I know that I have to limit my intake of Excedrin to a maximum of four in a day or I get ringing in my ears, also called tinnitus.
In spite of the potential for problems with Excedrin, when it is properly used it can be a great way to take care of a host of minor problems. It will probably continue to be my favorite over-the-counter pain medication until something better comes along.

When i was a kid, i would cry myself to sleep because Advil, Aspirin, Tylenol, etc would not work. I would even sometimes throw up from the pain. I found out that my headaches came from certain foods (usually of the processed meat variety: hot dogs, lunch meat, etc) and caffeine withdrawal. I loved Mtn Dew, but if i didn’t have it for a day or two i would get these crazy headaches. Now its like when Excedrin touches my lips, i can already feel my headache going away. THATS HOW GOOD IT WORKS!!! It works so good that it has trained my brain in an almost Pavlovian manner to make the headache go away before my body even digests it. OH and do not take it if you have been drinking as a hangover preventer… you are just asking for blood in your stool. Doing so can really mess up your liver just as taking Tylenol because of the acetaminophen in it. Otherwise this is seriously the best medicine PERIOD… because it works!

Except for JAG, who had some very useful info to convey about his shipment from Amazon, why on earth would someone actually sit down and spend the time to review a bottle of Excedrin? How much free time must you have in order to care this much? Spend time with your kids, take a walk, paint a picture, read a book, learn a language. Please.
