Doesn’t take much to clean off the whole face, and the “foaming” may be a bit of an exaggeration, but it works alright, leaving the face feeling clean and oil free. No dryness or irritation after use.

I have used this product daily for over ten years, and have never had a problem. No redness, no stinging, no burning, no breakouts. I have tried other face washes over the years, thinking some great improvement has happened while I was busy using Clean and Clear, but I was always disappointed. My nine year old son now uses it, and he has experienced no adverse effects. If I’m washing my face in the shower, I use two pumps of cleanser to really foam up on my face and use on my neck as well. If I’m at the sink for a quick clean, I use one pump so there are not as many suds to get on my hairline. Of course, I close my eyes while washing, but I do use this product to rub on my eyes to get the mascara off, and I have never had a problem with stinging. I highly recommend Clean and Clear Foaming Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin.

For those who like the “lather” this product is non-drying, non-stripping, unscented, effective…and cheap. Use it as a multi-purpose hand and face wash (pump dispenser makes that easy). Again, a simple product without a lot of magic additives or treatments. And, again, why would you rinse a “treatment” down the drain with your makeup? I don’t think you need those ingredients in a cleanser – it only hampers its effectiveness. I believe in some multi-purpose products FOR SURE, but some combinations just don’t work.

I’ve got really sensitive skin, and it gets worse during the winter. Other cleansers (like “regular” Clean & Clear liquid cleanser) can sometimes burn or sting and dry out my skin. I used to use Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash, which is great, but it’s more expensive than Clean & Clear for Sensitive skin. And it turns out that the ingredients are absolutely identical (check the labels for yourself!) and they’re both made by Johnson & Johnson… go figure!

I purchased this after watching OPRAH one day on beauty tips. Unlike so many men, I do worry about cleaning my skin and keeping it youthful-looking over time — we all really do want to look our best these days. This product was recommended by Oprah’s expert, and trust me: it’s one of the best cleaners I’ve used in a long time. It does not dry your face out, but it does clean it quite well. And, as far as price goes, why spend $10 or more for something they’ve already created for under $4 a bottle (at current pricing)???? C’mon! I recommend this to anyone who has been searching for an excellent, non-drying cleanser for the face.
