What are signs of depression that can show in a 6th grader?

You are not depressed you are just going through a phase of teen angst and rebellion against your parents or school. The best thing too do is stay far away from any drugs that the schools or doctors might provide and go out and live life too the fullest. Turn that angst into something creative IE: Learn an instrument, paint or draw, start cooking, build models or other crafts. The biggest problem today is that kids are put through school almost like a machine with little to no chance of getting out and seeing the world. Get on a mountain bike with some friends grab some granola and plenty of water and do some good riding in your nearest park or mountainy area, breath in deeply. Always remember you are a free human being and if you don’t want to do something than don’t do it but if you want to do something then you better go out and do it. Never let anyone control your life!
