Data challenges beliefs on cholesterol
People with high cholesterol levels who are diagnosed with hyperlipidemia – excessive amounts of fat and fatty substances in the blood – have a lower risk of death from cerebral stroke, according to a survey by a team led by Prof. Yoichi Ogushi of Tokai University.
