That’s true. They are conventional lenses which means they should be good for a year, or close to it.
Of course, you could rip one in 3 months, then have to buy another one. Some people also produce more protein and calcium in their tears and the lenses could be finished in 8 or 9 months. It varies.
AO Sept is a good system for the cleaning. It has to be a peroxide based system for your lenses. You will also have to get protein remover tablets.
There are other good peroxide systems also, but AO Sept is the only one that comes to mind. I haven’t sold any conventional lenses in over 2 years, so I’m not so familiar with the peroxide systems anymore.
