Register for a baby shower, which is saved for good?
I threw a baby shower for a friend. I asked him to go online and some Geschenke.Wir are young (I’m 21 years old, she is 23) and is the first time in our BabyShower Freundeskreis.Welche kind of thing is what I can to register. Baby-room furniture must be purchased by mom and dad right? As the crib and changing table? They are big enough Dinge.Ist record what I can for things as big as a semi-stroller / high chair / car seat? Or are too big?

We bought all of our large items. the crib and changing table were things I could not register for. I would say to register for everything you need. Family will probally buy most of the pricier items though. Friends and coworkers often go in together on them. Be sure to put small items as well so people still feel like you will appreciate everthing you recieve. It is good to do registries at different stores so they have more options & I have seen them a mile long and it is alot to sort through at one place. Many people like to buy you something that they think is a must have or just adorable and really think you would love. I always buy things that were lifesavers to me. Have fun.

I registered for everything we needed.
I put the changing table, crib, crib mattress, rocking chair, all the big stuff on there. The girls at my work all got together and purchased those things for me.
I put the high chair on there, too…and another girl from work got it for me.
My in-laws bought our stroller/car seat for us.
I bought clothes myself because I’m picky about what my boys wear.

You can register for all of that, along with the smaller things like a bouncer, swing, diaper champ, etc. People may choose to go together on a gift and buy something bigger, and a lot of people will just buy clothes. Tell her to register for everything she wants, and see what she gets. There are no rules about who buys what.

Everything is OK to register for, but make it in different price ranges. Most places that do baby registries will give you a check list to help you. Some will even do a fast start list. I too am pregnant with my first baby and I didn’t not Register for a crib or changing table. That was just our personal choice. She does need to remember that cribs do not come with a mattress. Oh and just a side note if you have to order some thing check Wal-mart the will ship for free if you pick it up at the store. Good Luck

I bought my son’s crib, changing table, and dresser. I also bought his travel system. I think about everything else was on my registry. My Aunt bought me an 80 dollar pack and play but that was really the only high priced think I got. You guys know who you are inviting are they people who spend a lot or not. Either way you can put whatever you want on there. Just be sure to include something for every price range. That way even people who do not have a lot of money can know that they still were able to get you something you really needed. And don’t be let down if you don’t get everything.

Tell her to register for what she wants. A registry isn’t telling people that’s what they HAVE to get for you, just an idea. Also, many people will go in together on bigger items. It won’t hurt to put the crib, etc. on the registry. If she doesn’t get it at the shower then she will just have to buy it. If she doesn’t register for something then she doesn’t have the chance of getting it as a gift. Also, at Babies R Us and Target they will give you 10% off whatever you registered for but didn’t get when the baby is born.

Register for everything that you want. People don’t have to buy them but sometimes a few people will go in together to get you one of the bigger items.
