We are told that many discoveries happened by accident. In fact, it has very little that was accidental about them.

For the most part have that opportunities to improve these accidents called engineering carefully.

It is doubtful that the success of large standing has always been the result of blind chance.

We hear a lot of wonderful things chance has wrought, but we rarely take the time to examine them.

Nicolas Poussin (1594-1665) was a great painter of the French in the French Baroque style. It was by Poussin, said that “Everything that was worth the value everything good.” This rule governed his life. Late in life, a friend asked, by what means he had such good reputation and won among the painters of Italy. Poussin emphatically answered: “Because I have not forgotten anything.”

Dr. Thomas Young (1773-1829), an English physicist, by tests confirmed that the interference of light waves. Soap colorful bubbles blown by a common pipe, Young hit his beautiful theory of “troubles”. It led to his discovery as part of the diffraction of light.

Young and engineering when he was ready to recognize the importance of well-known facts and simple. His greatness consisted mainly of his intelligent interpretation of the facts he observed.

The difference between people is in large measure, to the intelligence of their observation. A Russian proverb says nonobservant individual, “He walks through the forest and sees no firewood.”

“The eyes of the wise in his head,” said Solomon. “But the fool walks in darkness.” The mind sees as the eye. Where to see anything blind onlookers, the people of intelligent vision in the very fiber of the phenomena presented in order to enter. They note the differences. Make comparisons. Lastly, they realize their idea.

We all know Galileo Galilei (1564-1642). He was a brilliant Italian physicist, mathematician, philosopher and astronomer.

Galileo achievements include the first systematic studies of uniformly accelerated motion. He improved the telescope and a variety of astronomical observations. Galileo is often called the “father of modern astronomy, the” father “of modern physics,” and the “father of science.” A good resume. “

Long before Galileo had a swing hanging weight before their eyes with a measured beat seen. Galileo, however, was the first to recognize the value of this fact.

One of the orchards Cathedral of Pisa, after filling with oil is a lamp hanging from the ceiling, let it swing back and forth, Galileo, only 18, she noticed the attention. Imagine, just 18 years, Galileo had the idea of using the swinging lamp, to the extent of time. Apparently, the genius has no age limit either young or old.

Fifty years of study and work, but before Galileo has completed his invention adopted the clock. We can not assess the importance of his discovery to the extent of time and astronomical calculations.

Galileo was heard Lippershey Hans, a Dutch manufacturer show, Count Maurice of Nassau an instrument that distant objects were presented much closer than in reality. Galileo turned to the cause of this phenomenon that led to the invention of the telescope and has proved to be the beginning of the modern science of astronomy.

Modern times have been many great discoveries. Joe Morton was to travel in Southeast Asia, where he tasted the mangosteen is a fruit. He said he was the best tasting fruit, he was always the sample. He quickly learned that for centuries, traditional medicine has the Mangosteen is used to treat many diseases in South Asia.

Joe then asked if the fruit has no commercial application. To his surprise and joy, there was no commercial production of fruit at the time. Joe saw a great opportunity to knock at his door! For example, a modern phenomenon, known as XanGo Born, a functional health beverage. XanGo will be expected to reach one billion U.S. dollars in sales faster than any other company in the recent history of the United States. Joe Morton discovery led to an entirely new category of products.

A careless observer or a passive audience could not have made a significant discovery. Millions of people in Southeast Asia the mangosteen fruit, were tasted before Joe Morton. Only Joe Morton saw the market potential and make a business out of the fruit.

Captain (later Sir Samuel) Brown (1774-1851) studied the construction of bridges. It was a cheap construction while building one, where he lived. Like walking a wet autumn day was in his garden, he saw a tiny spider hanging above the road. The idea came to him immediately as a bridge of ropes or chains of iron could be built the same way. It was then that the invention is the idea to his Suspension Bridge.

James Watt turned his attention one day to the shell of a lobster of this model, he invented an iron tube. If watts determined that pipe, she showed him how to transport it in water pipes, which led to all sorts of discoveries.

It is the intelligent eye of the observer, which gives these apparently trivial phenomena their value. In such trivial matters as the sight of seaweed floating past turn his ship Columbus to the mutiny, which was among his sailors on shore not to remove, to discover and to ensure that the highly sought New World was farthest.

It is the careful observation of little things that the secret to success in business, arts, science, and in each year in the life.

Human knowledge is made as a collection of small facts, by successive generations of people. These documents careful little knowledge and experience in time become a valuable pyramid power.

Although many of these facts and observations seemed to have little importance at the beginning, they used all their potential when incorporated into their respective places.

In the case of conic sections of Apollonius Pergaeus, 20 centuries have passed before it was discovered the foundation of astronomy, a science, the modern browser makes its way through unknown seas and traces in the sky is a sure path to guide its security agency appointed.

Is the likelihood of lasting success only if you believe in fairy tales? It is the careful observation of little things that make the difference between success and failure.
