Canine cataract surgery with lens implant in a dog

it’s been almost two years since the surgery and the little guy is doing very well and has normal vision. He was blind before the procedure

I use tropicamide 4 times starting a few hour prior to surgery and epi in the irriagtion solution.

always use Vision Blue, I hydrodissect non diabetics ( had a bad experience in a diabetic with an extremely intumescent lens), that being said I do hydrodissect some diabetics. I am not sure hydro-delineation is works in the canine lens.
I leave the second stab wound “open” and it is seals nicely but I do like the idea of an injection seal. the primary would is sutured. And yes I do use an OVD to reform the bag before IOL implant.
