I know how you feel I also have dyslexia but its only a disadvantage if you let it hold you back… Just remember we know more about space then we do the human brain… My Dyslexia is based on hearing if someone talks to me I don’t remember a single word but visually I remember everything… Don’t let people put you down.

The thing is your most probably a lot more intelligent than the majority of people without dyslexia, and people affected should be reminded of this more often. Ofcoure i know the pressures of acedimia can weigh you down and it can be hard to find what you truly excell in, but once that happens its a path to sucess. Theres soooo many sucessful and influential dyslexic people.
If your wernt dyslexic the way your mind works would be different. You wouldent be you.

I was told in high school that I would never be able to go to a university of college because the courses I was taking weren’t accepted there. I was really down on myself and felt I was so stupid because that’s what the teachers said. They all said I was stupid and slow and didn’t try hard enough. I got diagnosed in 2008/9 and auditioned for a university to study music. Now, after all those years of being made fun of by teachers/students I’m SO happy! Music is a gift that is HEARD. =)

I am dyslectic, I suffered in school, I scraped through school, I have huge problems writing this without making 40 spelling errors. (spellchecker)
I have MASSIVE problems remembering names. I am 22 years old, I have no engineering training but I can build a scale model jet engine out of scrap engine parts, no one showed me how. I always see the things other don’t, I am HUGELY Talented and I will never trade this gift for anything in this world. My dyslexia will make me famous. -

I don’t care what any one says! If you tell people your dyslexic them people act as if your mentally retarded!
I can remember in 3 job interviews that were going well. The second i told them i was dyslexic the interview promptly ended! one said we don’t want some with Dyslexia!
