How does your hair need to be short for laser hair removal to be effective?

I want to do laser hair removal on my sideburns. They are longer than I like. The upper half is made of thick hair, but the lower half consists of short, thin hair. Before I did the laser, I have to shave off the short, thin hair? I’m afraid that they grow back thick and noticeable.

I think your best bet is to contact a doctor or clinic that does laser hair removal and ask them.

when i went to get laser hair removal on my underarms, they told me that i had to have shaven the area within twenty four hours of the procedure. where ever you’re getting it done you should ask if they think the laser hair removal will work on the short thin hairs you have under your sideburns because i heard it doesn’t work on hair that’s almost like peach fuzz.

The technician doing the procedure should trim the hair if it’s needed.
