Why can I split my Imitrex tablets?
I take 100 mg Imitrex tabs. My Mum has 25 mg, so does a small dose revealed. Why can I split my 100 mg Tabs in a few more or less 50 mg tablets?

You might be able to. Ask your pharmacist. Some tablets are made especially to dissolve slowly, and by cutting them you destroy the release mechanism. Your pharmacist can tell you if you can cut the Imitrex without altering its release.
