Does having a walk-in shower instead of a bathtub in a condo impact resale value?
I want to renovate the only bathroom in my condo by taking out a standard tub and replacing it with a walk in glass inclosed shower with a bench and adding other upgrades to the bath which include a wall mounted sink, tiled walls, etc.
You’re going to change from 1 bath to 3/4 bath by changing a tub into just a shower stall. (atleast around here thats how they look at it). Look at it in resale terms. . .being the mother of a young child who has to take a bath still. . . I would be very turned off at your house/condo not having a tub. . . it wouldn’t be practical for us, and it may not be practical for others as well.
