yea i used 2 have scoliosis last februrary
i gt dha surgery iht wuznt as bad as i thought iht would be
bt it wuz terrifying wen dey tld me i had 2 have da surgery
so sumtime dhiiz month i have 2 qo for my final checkup
dha scar iznt dhat bad bt itz like at dha top of my back
all the way down to the bottom of my back
and i had 2 have rods and screws put in
they will be dere 4 dha rest of my life -

Okay well I’m 14, and I have scoliosis.
I think I need a brace soon.
Heres the thing, I play basketball and volleyball, would I have to stop?
And Can I wear that thing underneath a shirt, like say I wear a tank top then the brace then a shirt, can I wear that? And does it come in black? Is it painful? I’m sooo curious, sorry xD -

many people have asked me the same question and inboxing me bout stuff like how i wear it to school and stuff ill make a video about it
no you dont have to stop you are aloowed well i was allowed 4 hours of swimming and 1 hour of rest our of the brace. well mine only came in that color. idk if color matters because you can hide it its not much pain but it does it sore in the beginning and when u get it trimmed. if u think it about it its better tehn surgery i do have brusies from it. -

I’m 14 and I got my brace when I was 12. I had to wear it the 2nd sememster of my 7th grade year to school. After that I barely wore it. I went to the doctor in October and he told me that I’m pretty much done growing (I’m 4’11″) and I don’t have to wear my brace anymore. I never really wore it in the first place, I guess I got lucky.

I have scoliosis and I got my brace wen I was maybe 12. Before I only wore it like 4 hrs per week cause I cheat XD but the doctor said it got worse so now i have to wear for 16 hrs per day . Idk wat my angle of curve is but I’m pretty scared to kno . The good thing is that I’m gonna stop growing soon so I would only have to wear it for about 6 more months(:

well then its crunch time baby! haha cuz once u stop growing the only option u have left of correction is surgery i personally dont mind tat but im an active person haah my other vids… so anyway it would be hard for me. yup i have gotten worse b4 so bad to the point where my rib actually stuck out and since im in a swim suit everyday.. ya u get the picture now u can almost not tell my rib sticks out a bit all from hard work in that brace

@2crazyRANDOMfreaks have u gone through pubertly yet? beucase tats probably why u have a part tat goes over ur chest and ya my does stick out alot i jsut wear it tighter than an average person so tight that i cant wear it anymore and might have to get surgery becuase it cuts off the circulation and i get these red things on my back now. just wear it tight and its less profile and u get if off sooner
