Hypertension Official Trailer [HQ] [2009]
HYPERTENSION [Official Trailer] by tdgmods (C) 2009 tdgmods.net tdgmods.blogspot.com Brought to you by diehard gamefan. http BRAND NEW DIEHARD GAMEFAN INTERVIEW: diehardgamefan.com Sega Dreamcast, Windows, Mac OSX, Linux Hypertension is based upon Monolith’s Blood. Without Blood this would not be possible. (C) Monolith Productions. Hypertension is freeware. Built upon id Tech 1. For more information about the trailer, including making of, visit: tdgmods.blogspot.com Please Note: the video was created with powerdirector. The footage was captured with Fraps, but was lagging like our last trailer did. What we had to do was decrease the resolution in-game to 640×480, and then Fraps decided to cut that in half to 320×240. I do not recommend either program to anyone out there, as powerdirector was unstable as hell, and Fraps made the game bow to its knees (come on, this is a modified id Tech 1 game here…). I’m sorry for the visual quality being muddied up.

Looks nice

Amazing, can’t wait! It’s always a bless to see some crudux cruo to the blood community.

Looks nice, but why not use a more advanced engine like the transfusion team did?
The engine we’re building can support most of the things that Quake did. We can replicate most of those 3d effects easily, and with the core engine being 2D, we can keep some sort of compatibility with Blood’s 2d sprites, maps, etc, instead of developing this with a true 3d engine and risk not having the original 2D feel right.
Thanks for the kind comment!

i am very much looking forward to this.. thank you for bringing yet one more title to the DC

Man, you could get/should get stabbed for saying stuff like that.

Why? Most of it’s exclusives got ported to other consoles, the home brew community is all but dead, and there haven’t been any big breakthrough in emulation on it at all in the past few years. It’s a dead console and it’s not coming back, deal with it.

is it still gonna be on the wiz???
@CryptoDah2 It’s a long shot since the guy who was working on that port left, but we still aren’t ruling out the possibility. Small tidbit of information – the game is coming to the Sega 32X.

and when its on the 32x i could put it on my wiz picodrive emulator
