Question : Where can my mother get free diabetic testing supplies?
She is 50 and just found out she has diabeties. She does not have medical insurance where she works and is not on medicare or medicaid. I have done a little research about this online and everything I found, you had to have insurance or be on medicare. She has neither, and the test strips she needs cost $ 50 a pack. With the medications she is already paying for, it could create a hardship. Thanks for any advice you might have.

she can go to her county hospital and see a doctor and then they will start sending her medication in the mail free of charge.

well ive been diagnosed with anorexia but the thing is during the week when i’m at school i eat usually between 600-700 calories at the weekend i binge, i cant purge (throw up), im in a cycle and im scared… i went to my shrink yesterday after 6 months who is not helping she was worried as im 5’9 at my worst i was 108 during recovery i went up to 115 but now im down to 101lbs within 4 months, i faked the recovery, she now thinks im worse than ever, before i ate 150 calories a day but binged at least 3 times a week (a binge to me is between 1000-2500 calories) both my GP and her say that my weight is critical my BMI is 15.1, my shrink wants to put me into inpatient and then begin recovery once im at a healthier weight, i dont think i need help i dont think i deserve it, the thing is she isnt helping me and there are no other shrinks in my area unless we pay for one but we dont have enough money if i dont see her and i continue to lose weight i’ll be sectioned!! im 16 and from the UK i can refuse treatment but as i am under 18 i can legally be sectioned, do i even sound that bad? i dont want to go to hospital but the treatments not working what do i do?

mental- i have depression, anxiety and slight OCD as well, slowly isolating myself i feel so awful for my friends and family that have to put up with me thats why i faked the recovery to hope they would think im fine (my parent dont think there is anything wrong with me thank goodness) constantly thinking about food and lack of concentration not good fot the a levels :/
physical- always tired, cold, hands and feet go blue, havent had a period in nearly 6 months, nails are brittle and my face has a pale/ grey tinge to it

Question : Is UT-Austin a good or okay school if you want to be a dentist?
I am currently in High School but I will be attending UT-Austin for college and I know that it does not have a pre-dental program like UT-San Antonio. But the question is should I still go to UT-Austin and take all my required courses for dental school or go to UT-San Antonio since everything is already set up and besides its the number 1 dental school in America. My problem is I like UT-Austin and the enviroment more than San Antonio. Please help, thank you.

My friend passed the field sobriety tests but blew a .10 into the breathalyzer. He then was taken to the police station where his blood was tested for BAC. Does failing the breathalyzer mean you automatically fail the actual BAC blood test?

Yup…hate to say it. Even if you passed the breath test the alcohol will stay in your blood longer.
ALso, they can also check you for any drugs on that bloodwork. So if you smoked a jiont or did anything depending on what you signed, they can check you for drugs as well as alcohol.

I am just turned 35and a few years ago I had to get my top front teeth pulled because they were severely absessed and I was in enormous pain (so bad icouldnt move my face even a hair) and since I didnt have the money for rootcanals that minute, I had no choice but to leave the teeth be while being in emormous pain andpossibly dying from the abscesses or have them pulled so while crying my eyes out, they were pulled. I have felt like I should have just taken the pain and chance of dying ever since, but now it is too late. And when you are in that much pain, you will do anything to stop it, but once the pain is gone, you cannot believe you did it. Now I cant smile or laugh or even eat certain things,etc. I do not feel like i am even a human being anymore. There was a guy on here who told me he would help me out and even had me send him pictures of my mouth (missing teeth) and I did eben though I was totally humiliated to do so and apparently he just wanted pictures of it for some unknown reason. He gave me false hope and now I do not know what to do. Idonotwant to goonliving like this anymore. People think im being rude to them because i dont smile when really its because of my teeth. I cant have a relationship with anyone becauseof this, my family dont even know im missing my teeth and I would die if they saw me like this.

They told me I would be in braces for 16 months.

How long did they feel you were going to be in braces?
It is more then just closing the gap they have to make sure your bite grows together as well as it can and you have wonderful alignment.
Most braces are 12-36 months. Just call and ask them.
You are paying a nice price for them they should be there for your every question!!

My husband’s company wants to charge us $ 21/week for dental insurance. I would assume they are charging us 100% of the premium. It only covers $ 1000 per year. How can a dental insurance company charge over the amount that they cover. $ 21 per week would cost $ 1092 per year. I’m just really pissed off right now. I thought it was a mistake at first, but turns out it’s not.
Deductible is $ 50, $ 1000 is the total coverage. Most things are only covered 60%.

it might be that the deductible is $ 1000? Saying you have to pay that amount before the insurance pays 100% of the total.

you are only allowed to use your phone for one hour a week and thats only if you do what you suppose to like eat 
and the ipod we weren’t allowed but it may be different for the clinic your going in.
